Will Kim Kardashian Talk About Taylor Swift At #BlogHer16 Conference?

On August 5, Kim Kardashian will be the keynote speaker at the #BlogHer16 conference in Los Angeles. An email was sent inviting this author on Wednesday.

“Hi– Happy Wednesday! We’re excited to finally be able to tell you that Kim Kardashian West will be keynoting at the #BlogHer16 conference — August 5 — in LA in just a couple of weeks.”

The email notes that Kim Kardashian will discuss how she became one of the world’s most recognizable women and a pop culture megastar. Kanye West’s wife will also reveal what drives her as an entrepreneur who has built a vast, diversified empire of technology and fashion. Kardashian will also explain how she has sustained and expanded her influence in a media landscape that is often fickle.

Kim Kardashian came to prominence after a sex tape leaked that featured intimate moments between her and musician Ray J. The release of the sex tape in 2007 upset Kardashian deeply, but she wouldn’t let it define her. Since then, Kim has started her own celebrity empire that deals with social media, fashion, charity, and almost everything else. As a matter of fact, Kardashian proved her icon status by appearing on the cover of Forbes. She talked about her future in the interview.

“I became really intrigued with the tech world. I started spending a lot of time in San Francisco,” says Kardashian, without a hint of irony. “I realized this is really going to be the next cycle of my career and this is what I want to focus on.”

Some may laugh at the idea of Kim Kardashian becoming a tech mogul. However, she pretty much rules people’s smartphones with all of her Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter posts.

“I love my big computer, but I can’t even tell you the last time I sat in front of it,” Kim also tells Forbes.

Some people laughed at the fact Forbes put Kardashian on the cover.

In other Kim Kardashian news, her feud with Taylor Swift has hit an all-time high. It all started when Us Weekly reported that Kardashian insisted that Taylor Swift knew about Kanye’s controversial video “Famous.”

“Sticking to her story! Kim Kardashian insists Taylor Swift knew about husband Kanye West’s controversial song ‘Famous’ in a preview for the Sunday, July 17, episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”

Since then, the feud has become intense. Kardashian, West, and Taylor Swift have been trading jabs all week. Even Radar Online is jumping into the fire by insisting that Kim is on a mission to destroy Taylor Swift.

“Fans may have been shocked when Kim Kardashian released the secret tapes of Taylor Swift signing off on Kanye West’s ‘Famous’ lyrics, but those in the reality star’s inner circle knew it was coming for a very, very long time,” says columnist Gina Bacchiocchi.

The article quotes an “insider” who claims that Kardashian wanted to pull the trigger this summer, because not only does she hate Taylor Swift, but she knew the stunt would improve ratings for Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Most of the comments after the article support Taylor Swift.

“I can’t believe that Kim is so jealous of Taylor that she wants to ruin her. Taylor would not even give Kanye a 2nd look…Taylor has taste,” claims Rusty.

“Hey Kim just shut up and swallow. Thats your only talent,” says Gina.
