‘Teen Mom 2’: Chelsea Houska Debuts Baby Bump As Gender Is Revealed?
Chelsea Houska is expecting her first child, and last night, she debuted her baby bump. Unfortunately for Teen Mom 2 fans, however, she did not debut her bump publicly. Instead, the reality star showed off her baby bump during a FaceTime chat with her co-star, Kailyn Lowry.
On Twitter, Chelsea Houska teased fans of the exciting moment between herself and Lowry.
“Got to debut my little ‘bump’ to @KailLowry on FaceTime. Her [Puerto Rico] snapchats have me dying,” Chelsea Houska wrote to her fans and followers on July 20.
In response, Lowry wrote, “MYGIRL!!! I love our spontaneous facetimes and calls! So excited for beebee deboer.”
Chelsea Houska and Kailyn Lowry have been close for several years. Throughout their friendship, they’ve spent plenty of time together in New York City and Los Angeles, where the Teen Mom 2 reunion and after-shows are filmed. Houska and Lowry’s partners, DeBoer and Marroquin (Lowry’s soon to be ex-husband), have also enjoyed one another’s company.

Chelsea Houska announced she was expecting her second child, DeBoer’s first, earlier this month on her official website, which she recently launched.
“I’m so excited to finally be launching my website, and I felt like the perfect first post…would be to announce to everyone that baby DeBoer is expected in February 2017!” Chelsea Houska told fans in a statement. “We are beyond excited for this journey and can’t wait to share it with you all! Big sister Aubree is also extremely excited and it’s no secret that she is hoping for a girl. I’ll be sure to keep you updated throughout this pregnancy, and I’m also excited to use this website as another way to stay connected with you all about tons of other topics! I’m so grateful for everyone’s continued support and kind words!”
Although Chelsea Houska has revealed her child’s sonogram and confirmed the baby’s due date, she does not yet know what she’s having. That said, Chelsea Houska hopes to soon find out and recently asked fans if anyone could interpret her sonogram on Twitter. A short time later, a fan of Chelsea Houska informed her that her child was likely a baby boy.
On July 20, In Touch Weekly magazine shared a series of tweets between Chelsea Houska and her fans, one of which claimed there was a particular spot on her sonogram that suggested she was having a boy.

Chelsea Houska is set to marry her fiance, Cole DeBoer, later this year and despite her pregnancy, which Houska admitted on Twitter happened much sooner than she expected, the wedding date will not be postponed. Instead, she will be walking down the aisle pregnant and welcoming her first child with DeBoer a few months later.
While fans will not be seeing Chelsea Houska’s wedding on Teen Mom 2, they will likely be seeing the moments leading up to her ceremony and possibly the moments leading up to the birth of her second child, as well.
“Our wedding is just something so personal and we’re having a small intimate wedding and it just didn’t feel right just for us to have it aired to millions of people,” Houska explained to Wetpaint Entertainment of her decision to leave her ceremony off the show. “Even though I appreciate the support and I’m so grateful for everyone who is so happy for us, people will be able to see the planning and pictures and stuff like that so I’m not leaving them with nothing.”
Chelsea Houska is expected to return to MTV in the upcoming season of Teen Mom 2 later this year or early next year.
