Tom Hiddleston Soothes Taylor Swift With Wine And Advice

Both Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston have been laying low since the singer’s latest controversy. She was exposed by none other than Kim Kardashian who took to Snapchat to release two videos of Taylor’s phone conversation with Kanye West about his controversial track “Famous.”

Now, Tom Hiddleston, 35, has been playing up the role of the perfect boyfriend. The British actor has been staying quiet amid Swift’s ongoing feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Not to mention, Swift was attacked by ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris, who revealed that she was the songwriter on his hit song “This Is What You Came For,” and confirmed her other feud with Katy Perry. According to reports, Hiddleston has been super supportive of Swift’s social media drama, and has allegedly told her to stay out of it.

“She was hurt and angry that Calvin took it there, but she’s smart enough not to play into it. She did the only thing she could do and that was to be the bigger person and let it go.”

In case you missed it, People published a report last week that revealed that the reason why Taylor and Calvin split was because she was upset after his interview with Ryan Seacrest. Even though she wanted her songwriting credit to be a secret, she was supposedly hurt when Calvin revealed that he had no plans to work with her in the future. The Scottish DJ took to Twitter to add that Taylor should “focus on her new relationship” instead of tearing him down in the media.

He also revealed that he plans to “Rise” above it all – like Katy Perry has lately. Then, a few days later, Swift was involved in another feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West when Kardashian released videos of Swift approving the song “Famous.” That caused the hashtag #KimExposedTaylorParty to trend on Twitter on Sunday night, July 17.

Taylor has since denied the controversy. She claims that she never approved of the line, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that b**** famous.” Taylor also revealed in her lengthy Instagram post that she never listened to the song before it was released back in February. Fortunately for Taylor, Tom has been “supportive” and has been telling her to keep “calm” over the drama, an insider dished to Us Weekly.

“She is completely upset and flabbergasted that Kim and Kanye keep using her name for publicity and keep trying to bring her down. Tom is really being so supportive and telling her to be calm. This is incredibly hurtful and unnecessary.”

The Night Manager star was spotted grabbing dinner and wine shortly after the drama unfolded on social media. Hiddleston was photographed with brown paper takeout bags from a local restaurant, and was seen carrying a bottle of wine on the way back to his place, according to The Sun. Not only was he carrying alcohol, but he also had a bottle of sparkling wine. Hiddleston bought their dinner at the Social Eating House and Bar on late Sunday night, and brought it back to their hotel.

The British actor brilliantly balanced the bottles and bags as his fans snapped photos of him. Tom was photographed wearing his navy blue quilted jacket over a white T-shirt and jeans. Tom and Taylor have been staying in Australia at the Queensland’s Gold Coast for the past few weeks as Tom films his new movie, Thor: Ragnarok.

The beach seems to be a big part of the couple’s life. Swift and Hiddleston were first spotted kissing at a beach in Rhode Island in June, just weeks after she split from Harris. Then, they were spotted walking and holding hands at a beach in London with Hiddleston’s mom and sister.
