Walmart Unveils Its Top Toy List For The Holiday Season
Not sure what to get your favorite grandchild this holiday season? Walmart has unveiled its Top 20 Toy List in order to help you out with all of your shopping needs. According to the company’s official press release, every toy on the aforementioned list will be available at its numerous stores across the country. If you need a little help wrangling all of these items, Walmart’s layaway program launches this Sunday, allowing you to pay off your holiday debt in manageable chunks.
“As the largest seller of toys in the U.S., we know what parents are looking for,” explained Anne Marie Kehoe, Walmart’s vice president of toys. “Whether bikes, dolls or action figures, we’re committed to having the toys kids want on our shelves at prices their parents can afford all season long. We carefully crafted our Top 20 Toys List to provide the right assortment for all kids. Making the list available now gives parents the chance to get toys early and take advantage of layaway with no gimmicks.”
Topping this year’s list is an old favorite, Hasbro’s Furby. According to Wikipedia, the latest iteration of the popular toy will include “more expressive LCD eyes, a wider range of motions, and its own iOS app.” The newer versions come in a wide array of colors, and will set you back around $55, depending on where you decide to shop. If you’re looking for a particular color, you’d better hurry; many colors have already sold out online.
The Leapfrog LeapPad 2, VTech InnoTab Learning App Tablet, Monopoly Millionaires, and the Playskool Rocktivity Walk ‘N Roll Rider are also popular choices this year. The Nerf N-Strike Elite Hail-Fire Blaster and the Beyblade Destroyer Dome Play Set are expected to be hot commodities for the boys, while the Lalaloopsy Silly Hair Star Melody B. Sharp Interactive Doll and the Monster High High School Playset should appeal directly to the girls.
