Rihanna’s Creepers Coming Soon In New Colorway, Puma Teases Restock Dates For Sold-Out Sneakers

Rihanna’s coveted Puma creepers are gearing up for the release of a new colorway next week, marking the fourth installment of the “This Is What You Came For” singer’s sneaker collaboration with the athletic wear brand.

It’s been nearly two months since Rihanna released the third installment of her top-selling Fenty x Puma sneakers, which were made available in three new colorways including an all-white leather version called “White Glo,” an all-black pair complete with satin shoelaces titled “Black Satin,” and an edgy emerald pair with a maroon stripe named “Green-Bordeaux,” so it’s no surprise that fans are eager to get their hands on the latest version of Rihanna and Puma’s footwear collaboration.

Puma previously announced the three new creeper colorways via Snapchat back in May. However, the brand took to its official website earlier this month to confirm speculation of a fourth installment in Rihanna’s sold-out creeper sneakers with the message, “Arriving on July 28th—the countdown to a new creeper color starts now.”

While the brand didn’t offer up any additional details regarding the new colorway release, several Rihanna-dedicated fan sites have already begun sharing photos of the sneaker’s anticipated design on Instagram and Twitter, which features an orange camouflage pattern alongside the shoe’s signature flat, thick-soled platform.

If you’re hoping to get your hands on the latest installment in Rihanna and Puma’s creeper collaboration, prepare to act fast—Rihanna’s “White Glo,” “Black Satin,” and “Green-Bordeaux” versions previously sold out online in less than 45 minutes, causing Puma’s website to crash multiple times in the process, Racked reports.

Similarly, when Rihanna dropped her second creeper installment back in September, then priced at $120, the sneakers sold out within hours of becoming available online, thus prompting fans to take to social media to express their frustrations over being unable to cop a pair of the coveted suede sneakers.

Given the popularity of Rihanna and Puma’s sneaker collaboration, the brand previously announced to WWD in April that the furry slides, Fenty sneakers, and creepers will continue to drop every month in order to keep up with demand. In addition, the sneakers have also become available through retailers such as Opening Ceremony, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, and select Puma locations, giving fans an even greater chance of scoring a pair of their favorite Fenty x Puma kicks.

Puma also revealed via their official website that the now sold-out “Fenty Puma by Rihanna” collection will be back on August 5, just one week following the drop of the alleged orange camo colorway for the creeper’s fourth installment.

In addition, Rihanna’s faux-fur slides, which were released in white, black, and shell and retailed for $80 on Puma’s website before selling out in a mere 30 minutes, are expected to be restocked alongside the new colorway release for the creepers.

While Rihanna’s highly successful collaboration with the athletic wear brand shows no signs of slowing down, fans are already preparing themselves for the launch of Rihanna’s Fall 2016 ready-to-wear collection with the brand, titled Fenty x Puma, which made its debut at New York Fashion Week back in February. The sportswear-inspired collection, which featured everything from thigh-high boots to slouchy hoodies, is expected to go on sale beginning in September, 2016, Refinery 29 reports.
