Meghan King Edmonds Already Beefing With Friend Kelly Dodd Due To ‘RHOC’?

Meghan King Edmonds has moved on with her life after last year’s drama with Brooks Ayers. Despite only being on The Real Housewives of Orange County for one season, Meghan really rattled some feathers with the other ladies, as she was able to research, speak up and essentially call out Brooks for lying about having cancer. While filming the show last year, Meghan’s friend and Jimmy’s ex-wife was slowly dying from cancer and she passed away as the season was airing, so Edmonds has first-hand experience with cancer. And she had no doubts that Ayers was saying one thing and doing another. These days, the Real Housewives of Orange County stars are trying to move on and they are wondering if Vicki Gunvalson is truly sorry for everything that happened last year.

According to a new Bravo report, Meghan King Edmonds is now revealing that she’s a bit upset at her friend Kelly Dodd, as Kelly isn’t exactly taking her advice when it comes to Gunvalson. Kelly decided to give her co-star a chance and they went out for lunch. She also invited Gunvalson to her party.

“It’s really disappointing that Kelly downplayed my advice regarding Vicki and the group of women and that she thought that I was being selfish and then insinuated that it was something a millennial might do. I really was trying to be her friend and be a peacemaker between her and the other women. I know that in some unfortunate circumstances though, Kelly does tend to go for the cheap jabs, so I’m not hurt or shocked that she would minimize my heartfelt advice by mocking my age,” Meghan King Edmonds explains in her Bravo blog for Monday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County.

Of course, the women do seem split on what they should do when it comes to Gunvalson. While Shannon Beador has said that she’s done with the drama, Tamra Judge was willing to listen to her story and was willing to give her the forgiveness she was seeking. Meghan King Edmonds hasn’t really said what she would do if Vicki apologized to her or if there is a chance for a friendship. But Edmonds does admit that Vicki probably shouldn’t have been invited to Shannon’s party, given they aren’t friends.

“When it comes to Shannon inviting Vicki to her party, I don’t think that it was a good idea, but I do admire her for inviting her if she felt like it was the right thing to do. If they are on bad terms, I don’t know why anyone would ever want to invite someone like that to their party. It just makes no sense to me. I don’t think it’s about hurting feelings or not hurting feelings, it’s about inviting your actual friends to your party,” Meghan King Edmonds points out, sharing Tamra Judge’s stance that it may not be a good idea to extend the invitation, as it does come with a diss and a warning essentially — the warning that they will never be friends.

Even though Meghan King Edmonds hasn’t said how she feels about Vicki just yet, she has been very vocal about her former fling, Brooks. According to PEOPLE magazine, Meghan King Edmonds has no plans of ever forgiving Brooks Ayers for everything he put the ladies through last year. Edmonds was disgusted when she learned that he had faked his medical records and she wants nothing to do with him. He has since moved out of state and has no plans of reconnecting with Vicki.

What do you think of Meghan King Edmonds’ comments about Kelly Dodd? Do you think Kelly’s decision to give Gunvalson a chance could ruin her friendship with Edmonds?
