Dina Lohan Called Out By Jennifer Lawrence In New Interview

Dina Lohan just can’t seem to win in the media today.

First the famous showbiz mom endured a disastrous teaser for her appearance on Dr. Phil that left many people thinking she was drunk, and now she’s being called out by Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence. In an interview in the October issue of W magazine, Lawrence made an unflattering comparison to Dina Lohan.

Lawrence said her mom accidentally told reporters that she would be starring in Hunger Games before it was announced:

“My mom talked about Hunger Games on the red carpet at the Academy Awards, which was something I had told her a million times not to do,” she explained.“She’s like Dina Lohan! – but she has good taste.”

The Huffington Post thought the comparison was a little harsh, noting that Dina Lohan has been described as the “worst parent ever” and “worst parent in America.”

Dina Lohan didn’t do much to help that reputation recently. In a teaser for her Monday appearance on Dr. Phil, she appeared fidgety and confused by one of Dr. Phil McGraw’s questions, leading many to believe she was drunk for the interview.

Her ex-husband Michael Lohan seized on the clip, telling TMZ, “I think when everyone sees the interview, they’re gonna know she’s not sober.”

But Lindsay Lohan’s mom stood up for herself, saying that the clip was shown in a bad context.

“All people saw was two minutes edited of an hour long interview,” Dina Lohan told TMZ. “Of course they cut it to make it interesting. That’s their job. I don’t blame them for doing that. Some of the comments were taken out of context but I’m fine. I’m fine.”
