Kim Kardashian Drops 70 Pounds After Baby: How She Really Did It


Kim Kardashian has been on a mission to drop some serious weight. Now, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality star had shed 70 pounds since she gave birth to her son, Saint West, on December 5.

The 35-year-old mom has revealed how she lost the weight in less than a year after giving birth. Kardashian has been open about her weight loss journey on both Instagram and Snapchat. She has told her fans that she closely follows the Atkins 40 diet along with a rigorous cardio workout. Kardashian recently opened up to People about how she was able to stay committed and focused on her weight loss journey, which involved both eating health and working out regularly.

“I think dieting is so important to weight loss, whereas, I didn’t really ever thing that before. I thought, ‘Oh, I can work out, I can just eat whatever I want.’ But you have to work out all the time.”

Now, that Kim is back to her post-baby body, she has revealed that she’s been following her diet plan which allows her to eat 1,800 calories per day. As for what she eats during her meals, she says that she has “a lot of fish and turkey.” She also wakes up early to hit the gym at 6 a.m. so she has plenty of time to chase around her two kids. But, Kim says that all that hard work wouldn’t have been possible thanks to her sister Khloe Kardashian.

“I saw her naked two days ago changing and I was, ‘Oh, my God. You are my body icon.’ She’s never been more on fire.”

However, there were times when Kardashian would go off track like around Memorial Day and that time when she ate too many churros at Disneyland with her kids. But she was able to get back on track thanks to the support of her nutritionist, husband Kanye West, and her family, and she told the outlet that her diet and workout plan is relatively simple.

As previously reported via Elite Daily, Kim’s diet for the next three days is really easy to follow in case you want to drop some serious weight yourself.

DAY ONE

Breakfast:
Scrambled eggs with turkey sausage and smoked Gouda
4 oz. Green yogurt with 1/3 cup fresh blueberries

Snack:
Atkins Harvest Trail Dark Chocolate Cherry and Nuts Bar

Lunch:
Grilled lime chicken over spinach salad with a feta-ranch dressing

Snack:
1 medium carrot and 4 tbsp. hummus

Dinner:
Lemon thyme halibut with sautéed green beans

DAY TWO

Breakfast:
Chicken chorizo and cauliflower sauté with cheese and salsa

Snack:
½ small apple
2 oz. cheddar cheese

Lunch:
Turkey burger with chipotle aioli, tomato, pickles and onions

Snack:
Atkins Harvest Trail Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel Bar

Dinner:
Slow roasted lemon rosemary chicken with asparagus
1/3 cup of wild rice

DAY THREE

Breakfast:
Hatch green chili, cheese and egg bake with arugula
1/8 of a honeydew melon

Snack:
Vanilla coffee frappe

Lunch:
Zucchini noodles with spicy chicken sausage

Snack:
Atkins Harvest Trail Vanilla Fruit and Nut Bar

Dinner:
Grilled chicken with cauliflower mac and cheese

Kim Kardashian has been showing off the results of her weight loss on social media. She has shared plenty of bikini photos to shut her haters down and prove to everyone that her diet and workout regimen really does work.

Kardashian was recently slammed for having her tiny waist Photoshopped in Fergie’s new music video for “M.I.L.F. $,” but she credits latex and corseting for giving her that waist.
