‘RHOC’ Lauri Peterson’s Son Josh Waring Pleads Not Guilty To Attempted Murder

Real Housewives of Orange County Lauri Peterson is still struggling with the news that her son, Josh Waring, is charged with murder, but Waring has now pleaded not guilty to attempted murder. Lauri Peterson, an alum and sometimes guest of RHOC, had hoped that son Josh Waring was on his way to recovery from heroin addiction, but from the charges and his mug shots, that doesn’t seem to be the case. Though Josh Waring has pleaded not guilty, there seems to be a great deal of evidence that he indeed shot the victim, Daniel Lopez, who is still recovering from his injuries.

According to the Inquisitr, Josh Waring, who was seen on RHOC in its earliest seasons, was spotted at the house of the victim and seen discharging a weapon. After that, Waring reportedly stole a BMW in an attempt to make a getaway. Josh Waring was seen in Costa Mesa where he had been arrested several times on drug charges and is on the radar of the local police. Josh Waring has several charges against him, with the top charges being attempted murder.

Radar Online is reporting that RHOC‘s Josh Waring has finally been arraigned and has pleaded guilty on all charges, including attempted murder. Police explained that Josh Waring was seen outside of the home of Daniel Lopez at about 2 a.m. where he was seen shooting Lopez, 35, in the chest. Lt. Paul Beckman of the Costa Mesa police explains that a number of witnesses identified Waring as the shooter.

“Apparently there had been a previous confrontation between [Waring] and the occupants of that residence earlier, and he had returned.”

Post-arraignment, the judge gave Josh Waring bail of just over $1 million, but he is still in police custody.

“At about 1:30 a.m. my husband was still awake and heard people out in the street screaming and cussing,” a woman who lives across the street from the sober living facility, The Way Home, said of the dangerous altercation. “He came back in and just said he wasn’t going to deal with this.”

Josh Waring has a pre-trial hearing on August 19.

Hollywood Life explains that Josh Waring has been in a downward spiral for a while, and his family, including mother Lauri Peterson, have been concerned that Waring’s drug addiction and criminal behavior were going to lead to tragedy. Josh Waring, 27, is the son of Lauri Peterson of RHOC and is married to Hannah Waring, and the two have had issues throughout their seven-month union. It seems that Josh Waring has been threatening his wife and in-laws, and most recently, has threatened to stab them. Hannah Waring has applied for a restraining order.

“I’m terrified. I fear my family, myself, or my belongings will be hurt or destroyed.” There’s a reason for her worry, as she claims Josh allegedly got into a “physical” fight with Hannah’s relatives. He allegedly threatened her and “threatened to stab my family.”

Hannah Waring is also seeking an annulment or a dissolution of her marriage to Josh Waring. There is no word yet on the annulment, but the restraining order has been granted.

Lauri Peterson, who has been making guest appearances for the new season of RHOC, is still trying to wrap her head around all the things going on with her son Josh. Ever since Lauri Peterson found out that her son Josh Waring was involved with heroin, she has been frustrated to find a way to help him.

“I needed to really pull back, concentrate on my emotional well being and deal with the aftermath of the arrest.”

For now, unless Lauri Waring posts Josh Waring’s bail, he will remain in prison until his pre-trial hearing.
