Taylor Swift’s Biggest Feuds: Calvin Harris & 12 Other Stars Who Have Battled With The Star

Taylor Swift may just have been seriously called out by ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris on Twitter, but Calvin certainly isn’t the only star to have put Swift on serious blast.

Take a look at 12 other celebrities who have publicly spoken out against Swift, including some of Swift’s biggest feuds with Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, and many more.

Kanye West

Kanye West and Taylor Swift have a well-documented feud that stretches all the way back to 2009.

The two’s drama first began after Kanye stormed the stage at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, where West told a shocked Swift, “I’mma let you finish… but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time!”

After years of drama, the two appeared to have patched things up until West and Swift’s drama-filled feud boiled over once again over Kanye’s controversial track “Famous,” in which Kanye raps, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that b**** famous.”

Taylor then publicly condemned the song by describing it as “misogynistic” in a statement, though Kanye continued to lament that Swift was aware of the lyrics and even gave her permission for the song to be released, something Taylor has vehemently denied.

Taylor and Kanye’s feud was so dramatic that their bad blood even spilled over to create another feud with Kim Kardashian.

Kardashian put Swift on serious blast in a recent interview with GQ magazine, where she stood by Kanye and claimed that Taylor did, in fact, know about the content of “Famous.”

“She totally approved that,” Kim told the magazine of Swift earlier this year. “She totally knew that that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t… What rapper would call a girl that he was rapping a line about to get approval?”

But despite Kim and Kanye’s claims, Taylor once again denied her involvement in a statement issued to the magazine.

“Taylor does not hold anything against Kim Kardashian as she recognizes the pressure Kim must be under and that she is only repeating what she has been told by Kanye West,” a rep for Swift said. “However, that does not change the fact that much of what Kim is saying is incorrect.”

“Taylor heard it for the first time when everyone else did and was humiliated,” the statement continued of the song. “Taylor cannot understand why Kanye West, and now Kim Kardashian, will not just leave her alone.”

Katy Perry

One of Taylor’s biggest feuds came in the form of her “Bad Blood” drama with Katy Perry.

Taylor first alluded to a feud with the star in a 2014 interview with Rolling Stone, where she claimed that an unnamed popstar did something so terrible that it made them “straight up enemies.”

“For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not,” Taylor told the magazine when asked what influenced the track “Bad Blood.”

“She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away,” Taylor revealed of a star she was feuding with, “and I would think, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'”

Swift never mentioned Katy by name, though fans were quick to point the finger at the star, and she later appeared to confirm her feud by tweeting out following Swift’s candid interview, “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing.”

Diplo

Diplo appeared to take Perry’s side in her alleged feud with Taylor, wading in on the drama following Swift’s Rolling Stone interview.

After Taylor and Katy exchanged words via interview, Diplo took to Twitter to tweet out, “someone should start a Kickstarter campaign to get Taylor Swift a booty.”

Swift never publicly responded to the DJ’s diss, though Diplo confirmed that the two were locked in a feud, telling GQ magazine that he received death threats from Swift’s fans following their drama.

Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj got into some serious feud drama with Swift on Twitter last year after Minaj was pretty vocal in her disappointment that her “Anaconda” music video wasn’t nominated for Video of The Year at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.

Nicki took to the social media site to tweet out, “If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year,” which Swift believed was aimed at her “Shake It Off” music video, which did receive a nomination.

Taylor Swift then hit back on social media, tweeting to Nicki, “I’ve done nothing but love & support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot.”

Jessica Hart

Victoria’s Secret model Jessica Hart felt the wrath of Taylor after she appeared to call out the singer following her performance at the 2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

According to ELLE, Hart was asked how she felt about Swift’s performance at the show, to which she replied, “God bless her heart, but I don’t know, to me, she didn’t fit. I don’t know if I should say that.”

Notably, Hart did not walk in the 2014 fashion show, though Taylor was invited back to perform.

Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato is also alleged to have had drama with Swift after she called out the star after she donated $250,000 to Kesha amid her legal battle with Sony and producer Dr. Luke.

“Take something to Capitol Hill or actually speak out about something and then I’ll be impressed,” Demi tweeted out, which had fans speculating that she and Swift have some serious drama.

Shortly after Lovato got candid about Taylor on social media, Demi spoke out about her Swift feud in an interview with Refinery29.

“There are women that I don’t get along with, and that’s fine,” Lovato said, alluding to her alleged feud with Taylor. “My thing is, don’t brand yourself a feminist if you don’t do the work.”

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler

While hosting the Golden Globe Awards back in 2013, Fey and Poehler majorly called out Swift and her dating life by joking that Taylor needs to stay away from Michael J Fox’s young son.

Taylor didn’t take the joke too well, hitting back at the comedians in an interview with Vanity Fair in which she recited a quote told to her by Katie Couric when asked about the award show call out.

“She said to me she had heard a quote that she loved,” Taylor said of Katie, “‘There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.'”

Chloe Grace Moretz has also put Taylor on blast, slamming her infamous squad of girlfriends and appearing to ignite a feud with the star.

In an interview with Complex, Chloe claimed that she actually turned down Swift’s invitation to join her squad because she believes they “promote exclusivity.”

“They appropriate exclusivity,” the actress told Complex of Swift’s gang. “They’re cliques!”

Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley

Taylor also found herself on the receiving end of a few scathing award show jokes at the hands of CMA Awards hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley.

Carrie and Brad appeared to ruffle Swift’s feathers when they joked about Swift’s 2013 breakup with Patrick Schwarzenegger. The hosts made reference to Swift’s hit “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” joking that Swift and her former boyfriend were “like, never ever ever getting back together,” though Taylor later admitted that she didn’t think the duo’s comments were too funny.

When asked why the camera did not pan to show her reaction to Underwood and Paisley’s jokes, Taylor told The New York Times, “they don’t pan to you if you’re not laughing.”
