The ‘Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ Adds Lisa Vanderpump’s Designer Pal Dorit Kemsley For Season 7

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is filling casting spots following the exit of two former stars.

According to Daily Mail, Dorit Kemsley is the newest addition to the reality franchise, and she happens to be best friends with Lisa Vanderpump.

Dorit works as a fashion designer and is currently wife to Paul Kemsley, a British property developer.

The couple first met in New York and exchanged vows in 2015. They have one boy together.

“I felt like I was floating outside my body,” Dorit told Wedding Style Magazine. “I was filled with love and completely euphoric.”

Paul also has experience in the music industry. According to Bustle, he currently manages Boy George. In fact, George reportedly sang during Paul and Dorit’s wedding.

Apart from her marriage, Reality Tea reports that Dorit’s line of swim and resort clothing has been included at NY Fashion Week. She also lived in Italy for a time, which would definitely be an interesting cast vacation this season.

Unfortunately, Dorit disabled all of the social media accounts prior to her joining the cast.

She is, however, friends with Vanderpump, who just recently announced her return for Season 7 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

“Yep, never thought I would return, but after many discussions. The pump is still in the game,” Vanderpump announced. “Thank you to all of you.”

Many suspected that Vanderpump would call it quits after the drama that unfolded in Season 6. Apparently, Vanderpump’s husband, Ken Todd, convinced her to return.

“Ken convinced her to do this season, she needed some arm pulling,” an insider shared.

Vanderpump plans on using her time on the show to promote the LGBT community and bring awareness to animal cruelty in China.

Producers reportedly offered Vanderpump an increase in salary for Season 7.

The reality star fought with a lot of her fellow co-stars last season, including Yolanda Hadid, Eileen Davidson, and Lisa Rinna.

The biggest controversy surrounded Hadid’s battle with Lyme disease. In particular, Rinna thought that Vanderpump was the main manipulator behind the scenes and started the rumor that Hadid had Munchausen syndrome.

Hadid announced her departure from the reality show shortly after the season ended, though she is expected to make a few cameos as a friend in future seasons.

At the same time, Kathryn Edwards is also leaving the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Edwards only appeared on one season of the show but had no regrets about being a part of reality TV.

“I feel great,” Edwards explained to People. “I walk away from it all with great feelings. I have no regrets at all. It was definitely an adventure for me. I really am kind of a private person.”

Edwards left the show in order to spend more time with her family.

“It really just comes down to the time and what I value the most,” she stated. “I value those times with my husband and our friends. And I really didn’t want to miss another year. It’s nice to be able to live life.”

So far, Dorit is the only confirmed replacement for Hadid and Edwards. Considering her success in the fashion world and her husband’s celebrity connections, Dorit is going to shake things up when The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns to television.

Even more, her friendship with Vanderpump might change the balance of allies and enemies on the show. Of course, fans will have to wait and see if Vanderpump and Dorit remain friends as the season develops.

An official premiere date for the new season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has not been announced.
