Is Jenelle Evans’ YouTube Show Over? Why Fans Haven’t Seen Anything From Her

Jenelle Evans has been very vocal about her dislike for MTV lately, especially after the latest season wrapped up on MTV. Jenelle felt that her life wasn’t shown in a positive life, even though she felt she had plenty of positive things to share. She felt that the editing room only chose the footage that was negative, where she’s seen fighting with her mother or fighting for Jace. But fans never saw the footage where she was playing with her children and being a good mother. And Evans decided that if MTV wasn’t going to share that footage, she was going to.

According to a new tweet, Jenelle Evans is now getting hassled a bit about her own television show. Of course, Evans may not be able to get her show on television, but she can get it out to her fans via YouTube. And for a while, Evans teased that episodes were coming. But then summer came and fans haven’t seen anything yet. So, is Jenelle Evans’ dream of her own show coming to an end?

“Hey Jenelle, how is your fake illness going?? You self medicate? How about your jobs, blog, website, house, lil Kaiser?? All good?,” one person wrote to her, clearly mocking her, while another Twitter follower added, “Don’t forget the YouTube videos she was going to post showing us how her life really is unedited by MTV.”

“Yeah I have hours and hours of footage for months I’ve been saving for now. Haven’t posted it,” Jenelle Evans replied to the followers, sharing that she hasn’t given up on her own show yet and that she has plenty of footage that she can use for her own YouTube show.

It sounds like Evans still has big plans for sharing her own footage with friends. She had previously said that she would film her life in the form of a GoPro cameras, so one has to wonder how enjoyable that would be to watch. It could become quite the nightmare to sit and watch a wobbly camera for hours.

Her idea to start her own show surfaced almost two months ago when she felt betrayed by the MTV producers. She felt that the producers only wanted to show her in a negative light, while all of her co-stars got to share some positive moments with fans of the show.

“I’m pretty convinced @MTV constantly wants to make me look like the most horrible mother ever. Doesn’t show a damn positive thing for my story,” Jenelle Evans revealed on Twitter, as reported by Us Weekly.

“And this season and this upcoming ones were suppose to be really nice and smooth towards the end but of course if @MTV hires a director that judges you, hates you, and wants to make you look out to be bad… They will do it. They hold all power in the edit room,” Evans pointed out, adding, “You would think they would have shown by now how I’ve been trying to get Jace back for over a year, or how many great times we’ve had.”

And in this rant, Jenelle Evans realized that she had the power and the tools to create her own web-based show, where fans could follow her in a brand new way.

“I should start my own show where you guys see no negativity but just positive vibes,” she wrote, adding, “#NextProject #YouTubeSeries #GoPro.”

No word on how MTV feels about this. It is possible that there’s nothing they can do about it, as having a YouTube show may not be any different than sharing videos on social media, such as Instagram videos. But one has to wonder if fans will see a different in content. Only time will tell.
