Who Is Donald Trump’s Wife? Speaking List At Republican National Convention Includes Melania Trump And Donald Trump’s Children
It’s hard to deny the level of attention that Donald Trump’s presidential campaign has attracted. However, the presumptive Republican nominee has largely managed to keep his wife, Melania Trump, and his children out of the spotlight. Aside from the occasional rally appearance, Donald Trump’s family have been largely absent from the campaign trail. That decision made by Donald Trump is an interesting one, especially when other candidates on both sides of the race have relied heavily on family appearances.
According to the New York Times, Donald Trump has big plans to take over the Republican National Convention in Clevland, Ohio this year. In fact, some of his biggest speakers at the convention are actually members of his own family, including wife Melania Trump and his children. The Trump family’s heavy involvement in the Republican Convention could signal that they’re about to throw a lot more support behind Donald Trump, meaning we might see them more regularly out on the campaign trail following the convention.
Unbeknownst to many, Melania Trump is far from being just Donald Trump’s wife. Before meeting Trump in the 1990s, Melania Trump had her own incredibly successful modeling career, which started in Slovenia and took her to New York, where she eventually met and married her husband, Donald Trump. In fact, at the time Melania Trump met Donald, he was actually dating somebody else but was instead keen to provide the young and attractive Melania with his numbers, both personal and business.
Speaking about Donald Trump’s current presidential campaign and previous bids, Melania has said that she always tries to stay out of politics where she can. Trump’s wife is always keen to make appearances on the campaign trail with her husband, but that doesn’t mean she agrees with him politically. However, it’s pretty safe to assume that Melania Trump doesn’t hold any political ambitions of her own and would likely stay out of political issues as the United States’ next First Lady.

According to the Washington Times, Donald Trump plans to shape the Republican National Convention around his “Make America Great Again” theme. With that in mind, along with his wife and children, speakers at the convention will include a number of key figures from across the Republican party. At the same time, Trump has also invited a number of Benghazi survivors to speak at his convention in what appears to be a clear jab at Hillary Clinton’s record as Secretary of State.

Interestingly, one prominent name within the party appears to have been omitted from the speaking list at this year’s convention. Donald Trump relied heavily on Sarah Pailin during the early stages of his campaign to become the Republican nominee. However, now that he’s secured the nomination of the party, Trump appears to have all but ditched Sarah Pailin in order to broaden his appeal outside of the Republican voter base, hence why Pailin isn’t making an appearance at the RNC this year.
The speaking list at this year’s Republican National Convention alone provides a clear idea of how Donald Trump plans to shape his presidential campaign going forward. The appearance of his close family members and omission of the likes of Sarah Pailin suggest a broadening of appeal for the Trump campaign.
