Josh Duggar Will Not Apologize For Molestation Of Sisters Or Other Sex Scandals — Here’s Why

Josh Duggar is reportedly appearing on the next season of his sisters,’ Jill and Jessa’s, popular TLC show, Jill and Jessa: Counting On. And a source told InTouch that the eldest Duggar, who has repeatedly disgraced himself, will actually confront and address the many scandals he’s been involved in, including the sexual abuse he perpetrated on his own sisters and other young girls, but there is one thing you will not here from Josh Duggar.

An apology.

In fact, Raw Story reports that the Duggars, once heralded as bastions of conservative Christianity, celebrated for their prolific natures and thrifty ways, are actually hurting for money, and because of the tight financial spot they find themselves in, have decided that they should cash in on their son, Josh Duggar’s, repeated sexually criminal behavior, trading in what’s left of their integrity for ratings, in order to get the cash flowing again.

Perhaps that’s why Josh Duggar was willing to dress himself as a cow and appear at Chick-fil-A in order to score some free food. The Duggars aren’t just hungry — they’re broke.

So it makes sense that Josh and family plan to cash in wherever they can, even if it’s because of the sexual abuse and other sex scandals.

“Josh will appear on the next season of his sisters’ series,” the source reported. “The plan is for him to address everything he’s done. What he has to say will be ratings gold, and TLC — and the Duggars — know it.”

The source also stated, unequivocally, that there will be no apologies forthcoming from Josh, who will continue to maintain the family mantra that he has been saved from his sins by God, and, as such, has no need to apologize.

“Josh will cover everything and he will maintain the family line that God has saved his soul and guided him back to the right path. But one thing you probably won’t hear is that he’s actually sorry, as he believes that external forces were to blame for his behavior.”

Josh Duggar, who is now 28-years-old, is still married to his wife Anna, and the father of four children. He resigned from his position at the anti-LGBT Family Research Council last year, shortly after admitting that he had sexually molested four of his sisters, as well as another young girl, as they slept. The sexual abuse had taken place about a decade prior to the admittance.

And then, the Ashley Madison hack revealed that Josh Duggar had two accounts on the website that is geared toward adultery, allowing a cyber-space for married people to meet and then hook up.

After that second sex scandal broke, Duggar entered a Christian rehabilitation center, where he stayed for months, apparently working on the drive that led him to cheat on his wife.

The source said those scandals would also be addressed by Josh Duggar, but there would not be an apology for any of it.

Josh’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, have had damage done to their own relationship, as the two have been “torn apart” because of their eldest son’s sex abuse, repeated adultery, and addiction to pornography, as International Business Times reports. Their indecision on how to address their son’s sexual abuse of his own sisters, as well as his involvement in other scandals, led to the cancellation of their own popular TLC reality show series, 19 Kids and Counting.

Despite multiple reports and sources stating that an unapologetic Josh Duggar will appear on his sisters’ show next season, there are other reports that negate the very same thing, strongly disputing the idea. Perez Hilton reports that although the Duggars have accepted Josh Duggar back into the fold, TLC has not.

So, with reports that directly dispute one another, fans (and non-fans) of the Duggars will simply have to wait until TLC gives its audience a sneak-peek at the next season.

What do you think — should Josh Duggar be allowed to appear on his sisters’ show? And if so, is it appropriate for him to acknowledge the multiple sex scandals, including the molestation of his own sisters, that he has been involved in, without offering up an apology?
