Michael Vick signs two year deal with Philadelphia Eagles

Michael Vick has signed a two year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, multiple outlets are reporting.

Details are still a little sketchy, but Vick is believed to have a deal worth $1.6 million for the first year, with the Eagles having a second year option at $5.2 million.

Speculation on where Vick would play has continued non stop since the NFL conditionally reinstated him July 27. Vick hasn’t played a game since 2007 when his was arrested for his involvement in a dog fighting ring, a crime he subsequently served jail time over.

The conditional reinstatement from the NFL remains in play, so while Vick will train with the team and play in preseason games, he won’t be able to take the field until Week 6 (October 18-19) at the latest.
