Jules Wainstein Furious With Bethenny Frankel: Points Out Mocking, Insults, And Judgments

Jules Wainstein was clearly very upset on last night’s episode The Real Housewives of New York when she went out for dinner with her co-stars. Jules, with the encouragement of Dorinda Medley, decided to confront Bethenny Frankel over the way she felt treated. Wainstein didn’t feel that Frankel was being very supportive and she wanted to confront her co-star about her eating disorder and the judgment she felt. But things didn’t exactly turn out the way she wanted, and she’s now sharing her frustrations in her blog.

According to a new Bravo report, Jules Wainstein is now revealing that she felt judged and mocked by Frankel through the insults she felt she was receiving. Jules just wanted someone who understood what she was going through with her issues and her eating disorder and Bethenny wasn’t exactly standing there with open arms.

“Since coming into this group, I’ve often asked myself, ‘Why is there always yelling and screaming? Why is someone always storming out of the room in tears? Why is someone always being mocked, insulted, judged or left out? WHAT PLANET ARE WE ON?!’ And then it hit me like a meteor: We are on planet Bethenny,” Jules Wainstein reveals in her blog for The Real Housewives of New York, according to Bravo.

Of course, it did seem like Wainstein was expecting everyone to just be there for her when she opened up about her struggles, even though she had only known the girls for a few months. Frankel distanced herself from Jules, because she grew up with a mother who had an eating disorder and she didn’t want to relive the past issues. But Wainstein didn’t expect that her co-stars would be so distant and cold, which caused her to flip out.

“My outburst might have been precipitated by months of dismissive, snide, insensitive comments and scrutiny of everything from a flick of my hair to the food on my plate and the homes in which I live (how quickly we forget the just plain nasty Hamptons ‘visit’! On planet Bethenny, that never happened, I suppose) and months of watching women around me get verbally assaulted. Another thing I quickly discovered during my recent trip to Bethenny was that there is no empathy on this planet, and the popular phrase ‘zero f***s’ literally means ‘to have zero self-awareness,'” Jules points out, mocking Bethenny Frankel’s saying that she gives “zero f***s.”

Of course, Dorinda Medley encouraged Wainstein to speak up, and Luann de Lesseps was proud of Jules for speaking her mind. But Bethenny and Carole Radziwill were quick to dismiss her feelings and Carole even hinted that Jules was in denial about her eating disorder, as she admitted to throwing up just weeks prior to their dinner.

“Dinner at Joanne’s was so painful for me; the complete lack of empathy from Bethenny and Carole really struck a nerve. If someone bore their soul to me like I did, I would have leapt across the table and given them a big hug,” Jules Wainstein explains, sharing how she would have handled the situation differently.

According to PEOPLE, Jules Wainstein admitted that she was still dealing with bulimia. Jules has gone through some serious issues this year, as her father was hospitalized and spent some days in the ICU. Wainstein also didn’t feel like she got any support from her husband. She later learned that her husband had been cheating on her. Maybe she was looking for much more support from her co-stars than they realized.

What do you think of Jules Wainstein’s blog for The Real Housewives of New York? Do you think Bethenny Frankel and Carole Radziwill were too insensitive?
