Taylor Swift Goes Shopping As Ex, Calvin Harris, Bombs Twitterverse

Taylor Swift, who’s still down under with boyfriend Tom Hiddleston, got some shopping done yesterday, Wednesday, according to TMZ, which quipped “Taylor Swift sure knows how to shake off Twitter beef…with a little shopping.”

The source also says the following.

“Taylor showed up at a mall Wednesday for some late-night spending in Gold Coast, Australia. Gearing up for another tit for tat with Calvin? Either way… shopping cures all.”

And Us Weekly joined the fray, hinting the same thing, that is, relating Taylor Swift’s latest shopping spree as some sort of therapy after “Calvin Harris blasted her on Twitter for trying to make him look bad after it was revealed that Swift penned his No. 1 hit with Rihanna.”

The source caught Swift smiling all the way to the mall with a bodyguard in tow. A picture showed her wearing a white long-sleeved shirt tucked in a distressed denim overall, white rubber shoes, and a green purse with a shoulder strap. Taylor reportedly went to a retail store called Another Love.

The source also dwelled in detail into Taylor Swift’s latest spat with her ex, confirming that the “Teardrops On My Guitar” singer did write the hit song, as her representative alleges.

“This Is What You Came For” even has some of Taylor Swift’s voice blended into the recording, says Us Weekly. Calvin Harris, however, wants to emphasize that he did a lot of work for the song, such as putting it to music and of course producing the entire track.

As the source assessed the issue, Taylor has apparently made her ex look bad by saying through channels that she was hurt by the dance artist not being vocal about their collaboration in a radio interview. The source does in fact, quote Calvin Harris as follows.

“Amazing lyric writer and she smashed it as usual…And initially she wanted it kept a secret, hence the pseudonym. Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though.”

Rolling Stone did more digging into the secret collaboration between Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris, asking “Why is the news coming out now?”

The source also brought to the fore the same thing that happened between Calvin Harris and Rita Ora, with whom Harris broke off with prior to meeting Taylor Swift in 2014.

“Ora has even hinted that it may have led to their breakup after a year of dating. In since-deleted tweets, Harris loosely confirmed that he had been behind the performance’s cancellation…Ora had to delay her album because of Harris banning the release of tracks he produced for it.”

Rolling Stone looked into the legal aspects of the much-ballyhooed Swift-Harris collaboration, saying that “As a co-writer of the song who provided lyrics and the melody line, Swift could prevent the song’s usage in television and film, but not live performances.”

Thus, based on the source’s research on the matter, this would not be the first time that Harris got into a controversy when it comes to music collaboration and with his girlfriend.

It would also appear that Calvin Harris already knew the ugly consequences of musically collaborating with his girlfriend, and yet, he still went on with it for the second time.

On March 7, Daily Mail reported that “He doesn’t want to rock the boat: Calvin Harris ‘politely declined’ collaboration with girlfriend Taylor Swift over fears it would destroy their relationship.”

The source also concluded the following.

“Better luck this time: Calvin appears to have learned from his mistakes as the mega-producer previously collaborated with ex-girlfriend Rita on her last album before their sour split.”

Apparently, this is not the case, based on the still-raging war on Twitterverse, which remains one-sided, as Taylor Swift is yet to reply to Calvin Harris’ accusations. She could still be out shopping.
