Gretchen Rossi Lands ‘RHOC’ Spinoff?

Gretchen Rossi just wrapped filming on a new TV show with her former Real Housewives of Orange County co-star, Vicki Gunvalson.

Days ago, Gretchen Rossi and Vicki Gunvalson, along with former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey, participated in a filming session for a series that has been deemed a Real Housewives of Orange County spinoff.

“The four of them are finished filming for the show and they all had a great time together,” a source told Radar Online on July 13. “Everyone is just going to love it!”

While not many details are known about the upcoming show, the outlet claimed it was Gretchen Rossi’s spinoff, which may suggest that Gunvalson, Maloof, and Bailey were merely guest stars of the series.

Just a short time ago, it was reported that Gunvalson was trying to get Gretchen Rossi back on The Real Housewives of Orange County. As fans will recall, Gretchen Rossi left the series after Season 8, along with Lydia McLaughlin, and was replaced by Shannon Beador and Lizzie Rovsek. However, now that Gunvalson has been feuding with Tamra Judge, she’s hoping that Andy Cohen will give Gretchen Rossi a chance to return to the reality show.

“Vicki knows that if she is going to take Tamra down she cannot do it alone,” a source previously told Radar Online.

Years ago, Gretchen Rossi and Vicki Gunvalson were at odds, as were Gunvalson and Rossi’s fiancé, Slade Smiley, but these days, the two women are quite close and have been spending a lot of time together in recent weeks.

“[Gretchen Rossi]’s relationship with Vicki has developed rather organically and they have become fast friends,” an insider explained. “They are continuing to make plans together and hanging out a lot with the two of them and Kelly. The three of them love hanging out and, of course, Tamra is not having it!”

Earlier this month, Gretchen Rossi celebrated the Fourth of July with Gunvalson and her newest co-star, Kelly Dodd, and during the festivities, the women shared several photos of one another on social media.

“Vicki and [Gretchen Rossi] had a total blast hanging out and all the girls laughed their butts off,” said the source.

“While the ladies were at lunch, Vicki busted out her phone and texted Andy Cohen to tell him to bring back [Gretchen Rossi] and Lizzie Rovsek. After Andy didn’t respond, Vicki called him to tell him that she thought having them both come back would be awesome!” the source continued.

Gretchen Rossi has been linked to rumors of a possible return to The Real Housewives of Orange County for the past few years, but with a successful line of handbags and makeup, she certainly doesn’t need the show. That said, Rossi has a much different outlook on her potential return to the show now that she and Gunvalson are on good terms.

“[Gretchen Rossi] is not desperate at all to be back on the show. But, if she did return next season, it would be a lot easier for her knowing that Vicki and Kelly have her back!” the insider told Radar Online. “But, honestly, Gretchen does not need that in her life right now. She is doing so incredibly well without all that drama!”

Gretchen Rossi has yet to release a statement in regard to her upcoming show.
