Are Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx getting sloppy with their efforts to keep their rumored romance on the down-low? They might be.

While Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have yet to confirm they are in a relationship, they were recently spotted together in Canada.

According to a July 11 report by Lainey Gossip, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were recently caught enjoying a dinner date in Toronto, where Holmes has been all summer as she continues to film The Kennedys After Camelot.

Although Foxx isn’t currently working in Toronto, he just happened to be in the country last week, and around the time of his dinner date with Holmes, he posed for a photo with a fan in the area.

Last Thursday night, as Etalk reported, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were out for dinner at Yorkville hotspot Kasa Moto, but unfortunately, their secret outing was quickly blown by curious fans who swarmed the restaurant in hopes of getting a photo of the celebrity pair.

“Once word spread that the two were at the restaurant, [Katie Holmes] had her assistant lead her out the back door,” Lainey Gossip explained. Meanwhile, Foxx reportedly left through another exit of the restaurant.

Prior to their dinner date, Katie Holmes’ rumored boyfriend was spotted shopping for a gift for “my girl,” and according to Etalk, he left town right after dinner.

As reports of their dinner date continue to swirl, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have been facing rumors of a possible split. According to several past reports, Holmes is growing frustrated at Foxx’s inability to commit and has decided to cut ties with the actor for good.

On this week’s cover of Life & Style, a headline reads, “Katie & Jamie: After Three Years It’s Over.”

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx “had been talking marriage,” but will now “go their separate ways,” a magazine insider alleged, according to a report by Gossip Cop on July 9. “At one point, Katie thought he’d be her husband. They talked about getting married. But they got wrapped up in their careers and she realized he really wasn’t a settle-down kind of guy. In the end, the split was mutual.”

“She didn’t think he could really commit… They just weren’t making time for each other. Katie was heartbroken at first when she realized the romance was over. But now she’s moving on,” the source added.

Although it doesn’t seem too far-fetched to think that Katie Holmes would want a commitment from the man she’s been linked to since 2013, Gossip Cop claimed that the unconfirmed status of the couple’s relationship was enough to deem the Life & Style report untrue.

Before she was linked to Foxx, Katie Holmes was married to actor Tom Cruise, with whom Foxx starred alongside in Collateral, for 6 years. Weeks after parting ways with boyfriend Chris Klein, Katie Holmes began dating Cruise and in June 2005, the couple became engaged. One year later, in April 2006, Katie Holmes and Cruise welcomed their first child together, daughter Suri, now 10, and in November of that same year, they tied the knot in Italy.

Katie Holmes filed for divorce in June 2012 and one month later, their split was finalized.

Ever since Katie Homes and her ex-husband parted ways, she has maintained custody of their daughter and his absence from her life has been a hot topic for fans.
