People are still talking about that fact that Nicki Minaj endorsed (but not really) Mitt Romney in a recent song. Now Kanye West is giving out his political opinions.

On his new song, To The World, which also features vocals from R. Kelly, West accuses Romney of not paying any taxes.

West raps:

“I’m just trying to protect my stacks / Mitt Romney don’t pay no tax.”

It may seem like West is chastising Mitt Romney for having a low tax rate and for refusing to release his tax reforms, but according to the Observer, it’s more likely that West is using Romney’s tax situation as justification to exploit the system.

West says:

“I need a new crib to hold my plaques / Rick Ross had told me that / Said I’d be all up in Goldman Sachs / Like, “These ni**as tryna hold me back / These ni**as tryna hold me back / I’m just trying to protect my stacks / Mitt Romney don’t pay no tax / Mitt Romney don’t pay no tax.”

Which can be translated to: Rick Ross advised me to find a good place to invest my money. If Mitt Romney doesn’t have to pay taxes than why do I?
