Meghan King Edmonds On Vicki Gunvalson’s Story: ‘It’s Just Really Difficult To Witness’

Meghan King Edmonds may have been determined to find out whether Brooks Ayers was lying about having cancer on the previous season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, but this season she isn’t focusing on getting Vicki Gunvalson to admit her faults. In an interesting twist, this season is all about Meghan becoming pregnant through IVF, and she’s documenting her journey on the show. But just because King Edmonds has plenty of exciting times to look forward to, it sounds like she isn’t forgetting everything that happened last year. In her newest blog, Meghan opens up about how frustrating it is to see Vicki Gunvalson change her story.

According to a new Bravo report, Meghan King Edmonds is now revealing that she felt bad for Vicki’s daughter Briana, as she had to drive 21 hours straight after having surgery. During the Real Housewives of Orange County episode, Briana revealed that she was struggling with complications and she wasn’t doing too well.

“Watching the car ride with Briana and Vicki Gunvalson was funny and stressful at the same time. 21 hours in a car right after surgery? I feel so bad for Briana. It must be so hard for Vicki to watch her daughter be in pain,” Meghan writes in her blog for The Real Housewives of Orange County, according to Bravo, adding, “I can’t imagine Briana coming home from the hospital and all she wants is her mom, but Vicki had to leave for work.”

Since Meghan King Edmonds and Vicki aren’t friends, it seems like a sweet thing to say. Edmonds can put herself in Briana’s shoes, where she would be uncomfortable for the ride home and then just needing her mom once she got home. King Edmonds didn’t say much about this scene, even though Briana was clearly not doing well.

But when Meghan and the other ladies saw that Gunvalson was showing up at Kelly Dodd’s beach party, she revealed that she found it awkward to see her. In fact, many of the ladies were surprised that she would show up, as she seemed completely out of place. While King Edmonds may give her a chance to explain herself, she probably doesn’t see a friendship with Gunvalson forming at all. And this is because Vicki’s story seems to change all the time.

“I think Vicki seemed so out of place at Kelly’s party. It makes me wonder why she even came. I guess it was good that she came though so Tamra Judge was able to talk to her because Tamra made some really good points during that conversation. I love that she held her ground and didn’t allow Vicki to divert the conversation to something else irrelevant, since it seems she often does,” Meghan King Edmonds writes in her blog for The Real Housewives of Orange County, pointing to Gunvalson’s changing stories.

“Notice how Vicki said word-for-word, “I didn’t lie about Brooks,” yet at the Reunion last year she admitted to lying about Brooks. It’s just really difficult to witness all of the back-and-forth that’s been going on with her,” Meghan King Edmonds explains, sharing that it is painful for her to watch but also frustrating since her co-star had already admitted to fabricating some things.

Shockingly, Tamra Judge decided to give her old friend a second chance. According to US Weekly, Tamra felt her friend was truly sorry for what had happened. But she later revealed that it was a mistake to let her back into her life.

What do you think of Meghan King Edmonds’ comments about Vicki Gunvalson? Do you think these two will have a chance to talk things through on this season of The Real Housewives of Orange County?
