Martha Stewart, Emeril Lagasse and the Home Shopping Network are currently being sued for selling knock-off knives.

Forbes reports that the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce filed a lawsuit this week against Stewart and her company Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Lagasse and HSN.

The lawsuit accuses the famous chefs of trademark infringement by claiming that the knives were made in Solingen, Germany when they were actually made in China. TMZ reports that the knives sold on the Home Shopping Network had the words “Solingen, Germany,” a region known for knife-making, on the side of the blade. According to the lawsuit the knives were actually made in China.

The lawsuit uses several customer reviews to back up its claims.

One user writes: “That is terrible when a top chef lies to you on TV … Emeril cannot be trusted with what he advertises.”

Another writes: “I’m disappointed in the video when Emeril stated that the Santouku knife was made in Germany… This is the main reason I made the purchase. Come to find out it is made in China.”

Martha Stewart, Emeril Lagasse, and the Home Shopping Network are being sued for up to $2 million times for each time the Solingen, Germany was mentioned in relation to the knives. And since HSN is a 24-hour-network, who knows how many times that number will be multiplied.
