Heather Dubrow Slams Teresa Giudice For Talking ‘Yoga And Diet’ Instead Of Prison ‘Remorse’

Heather Dubrow, one of the stars of the Real Housewives of Orange County, is not impressed with how Teresa Giudice reacted to her sentence in federal prison. Visiting Watch What Happens Live, Dubrow contended that Teresa should have shown more remorse for what she did, reported the Daily Mail.

Viewers were able to observe how Giudice returned from prison on Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives Of New Jersey. And the 47-year-old Real Housewives Of Orange County personality feels that Teresa, 44, neglected to talk about how she felt about her prison sentence.

“She came back from prison talking a lot about yoga and her diet and I think a lot of people would like to hear about accountability and remorse,” contended Heather in a discussion with Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen.

The Sunday episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey showed Giudice’s return home after spending nearly a year in prison for fraud charges, noted Us Weekly.

After Teresa evaded the ever-present paparazzi, she entered her home and received a warm welcome from Joe Giudice. The reality TV star cried amid her husband’s embrace, which was followed by hugs from her young daughters.

While the exchanges of love from her family took precedent, Giudice did refer briefly to her time in prison. She shared that during her time in jail, she had dreamed of becoming embraced in a welcome-home scene with her family, describing herself as “very naive” when it came to her criminal charges.

“I’ve learned my lesson. I’m not going to make the same mistake twice.”

However, Dubrow feels that Giudice miscalculated when it came to what the Real Housewives of New Jersey audience wanted to hear from her about her time in prison and reasons for being sentenced for so long. Although Heather opined that Teresa failed to admit that she was remorseful and did not seem to hold herself accountable for what she had done, the Real Housewives of Orange County star denied that she was cruel.

Dishing with Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, Dubrow admitted that she is not really acquainted with Giudice.

“I think honestly, in the scheme of things, that was pretty benign,” claimed Heather regarding her remarks about Teresa’s lack of remorse.

In addition to her discussion with Andy on Watch What Happens Live, Dubrow chatted with People about her assessment of Giudice since returning from prison.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star admitted that she is looking forward to viewing how the New Jersey version of Real Housewives portrays Teresa’s life after spending 11 months in jail.

“I’m curious to see what happens. I’m sure it’s sad and interesting,” predicted Heather.

And she had some kind words to offer about what she had observed of Giudice overall.

“[The Real Housewives of New Jersey star] seems like a good woman and a good mother,” added Dubrow.

Despite that compliment, the reality TV star still expressed concern about how Teresa focused so much on exercising rather than her crimes.

“It was a little bit odd to see her come back and talk about doing yoga in prison. I’m not sure that was the right message.”

As for how fans responded to the criticism from Heather, there were those who felt she was being unfair to Giudice, according to Bravo.

Asked to justify why she “always bashes Teresa Giudice” during her visit to Watch What Happens Live, however, Dubrow defended herself.

“Oh, gosh, I don’t,” she responded. “But listen, when you’re asked a question, you answer.”

Heather also clarified that she based her remarks on the coverage of Teresa that she had viewed.

“What I’ve seen of the coverage is that she came back from prison talking a lot about yoga and her diet,” she explained.
