Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Are Facing An Expensive Divorce, But Continue To Fight For Their Marriage?

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may be facing an expensive divorce.

Following a recent outing in Los Angeles, where Brad Pitt was seen grocery shopping with his wife, Jolie, and three of their children, daughter Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne, a source claims the couple are “fighting hard” to save their marriage.

“[Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie] are rumoured to be going through a rough patch, and the reason behind this is said to be Pitt’s growing closeness with Allied co-star Marion Cotillard,” India Today revealed to readers on July 12.

“Meanwhile, there were reports that Pitt was seriously lonely and unhappy back home. But according to recent sources Jolie is fighting tooth and nail to save her marriage with Brad, which allegedly has ‘spiralled out of control,'” the outlet continued. “She plans to take some time off and have ‘crisis talks’ with her husband, as they retire to their Chateau Miraval estate in the French vineyards.”

Throughout this year, Brad Pitt has been spending the majority of his time in London, England, where he and Cotillard were filming Allied with fellow co-star Lizzy Caplan.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie fell in love on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith over a decade ago, but at the time, Pitt wasn’t single. Instead, the 52-year-old actor was married to Jennifer Aniston until she filed for divorce in 2005. Then, just one month after Aniston’s filing, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie confirmed their relationship with a public outing in Kenya.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie tied the knot in August 2014 at their home in France, Chateau Mirival, and together, they have three biological children, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne, and three adopted children, Maddox, 14, Pax, 12, and Zahara, 11.

Earlier this year, a source claimed Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were doing their best to put their issues aside and make their marriage work for the sake of their six children.

“The past few months have been tough on [Brad Pitt] and Angie because they’ve both been very wrapped up in their own projects,” a source told Hollywood Life at the time. “They went from doing By The Sea together and having all this time as a family to spending the majority of their time apart. That is hard on them. Whenever they have to spend too much time apart, it causes tension in the relationship.”

“We have fights and problems like any other couple,” Jolie admitted to The Telegraph in November 2015. “We have days when we drive each other absolutely mad and want space.”

That said, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly determined to make their marriage work and avoid what would surely be a very pricey divorce, as they are worth a reported $400 million.

“They both want to make sure the kids get enough time with at least one of them around so they argue about that,” the Hollywood Life source added.”They both know they need to come back together and have more time as a family unit. They’re looking forward to moving to London together this Spring.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been facing rumors of a split since Pitt began working with Cotillard on Allied, but so far, they have remained silent in regard to any possible split or marital troubles between them. The couple also failed to address allegations of an inappropriate kiss between Pitt and Caplan.
