Does Selena Gomez want to get back with her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber, despite his reported romances with Nicola Peltz and Kourtney Kardashian?

According to a report last week, Selena Gomez is determined to win back her former boyfriend after learning he and the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star were rumored to be back on after meeting up during their time in Miami.

Selena Gomez is “enraged,” a source told In Touch Weekly, revealing the 23-year-old had come to the conclusion that she and her ex-boyfriend should rekindle their romance following the death of her close friend and fellow singer, Christina Grimmie.

Selena Gomez “realized life is short, so she called [Justin] and told him she loved him,” the magazine source alleged.

As for his rumored relationship with Kardashian, the news was said to have come as a blow to Selena Gomez, who is used to having her ex-boyfriend in her life as a shoulder to lean on. The news also reportedly sent Gomez into a tailspin, which resulted in non-stop calls, text messages and, emails to her former boyfriend.

Although Selena Gomez and her ex-boyfriend have had an up and down relationship in the past, a source close to the situation assured Gossip Cop after In Touch Weekly‘s report was shared that her pursuit of Bieber was “false.” The insider also added that In Touch Weekly‘s decision to use Grimmie’s death to create an untrue account of Gomez’s love life was “disgusting” and said Selena Gomez’s conversation about Kardashian never happened.

Gossip Cop also recently shot down a report regarding the possible lesbian relationship between Selena Gomez and her friend, Ruby Carr, a member of the girl band Bahari. On July 11, the outlet set the record straight regarding Gomez’s relationship with Carr, claiming their 4th of July kiss was nothing more than a silly moment between friends.

Weeks ago, Selena Gomez was said to be missing Justin Bieber after seeing that he had been involved in a fight in Cleveland, Ohio, where the Cleveland Cavaliers were hosting the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals.

“[He] is so passionate for his work, so passionate when it comes to not doing any photos with fans, so passionate when it comes to gloating he didn’t get hurt when he got in his latest fight. But he was never passionate in keeping [Selena Gomez’s heart and she hates that she wasn’t important enough for him to make what they had work,” a source told Hollywood Life last month.

“[Selena Gomez] wishes he would have fought for her like he fights for everything else in his life, with passion. And the fact she thinks she never got that from him makes her always go back and want to help him and that is also why she will always be there for him,” the insider explained.

As for the fight, Selena Gomez was disappointed to see Bieber act out.

“[Selena Gomez] hates seeing Justin get into fights,” the source said. “She thinks that it is really stupid and does nothing positive for him at all. She hates seeing him getting into all these predicaments and would love for him to just take a break away from everything and everyone.”

As Selena Gomez continues to face rumors regarding her love life, her Revival World Tour has also continued as well, and currently, she is in Canada.
