Did Selena Gomez Just Put Demi Lovato & Nick Jonas On Blast Over Expensive Meet & Greets?

Fans are speculating that Selena Gomez may have just taken aim at her former friend Demi Lovato and ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas over their pricey fan meet-and-greets.

The latest drama between the former Disney stars allegedly boiled over once again last week after a fan claimed that Gomez appeared to throw a little shade Demi and Nick’s way while chatting with fans during a meet-and-greet session prior to a show in Anaheim, California.

According to the Selena update account @SelenaHQ, a fan told Selena that they’d spent $1,200 on Gomez’s current tour after attending multiple shows and shelling out some serious cash on merchandise, to which Selena had a pretty interesting response.

The account claimed that Gomez then replied to the fan, “At least I don’t charge $10k,” which has fans believing Selena was putting Lovato and Jonas on serious blast for charging thousands for meet-and-greets with fans.

People reported last year that Demi and Nick were charging fans $10,000 for special meet-and-greet packages for their joint “Future Now Tour.”

The site revealed exactly what fans who fork out the five-figure sum will receive, claiming that the hefty price tag does not actually include a ticket to Demi and Nick’s concert.

According to People, for $10,000 fans will be treated to the Ultimate VIP Dressing Room package, which allows four guests to have a tour of the backstage area, their own private dressing room in the backstage area and even dinner and a private meet and greet with Lovato and Jonas.

Selena didn’t explicitly reveal to the fan if she was taking direct aim at her former close friend and ex-boyfriend with her comments about pricey meet and greets, but that didn’t stop fans from speculating that Gomez was putting the Lovato and her tour mate on blast with her alleged comments.

“Waiting for Demi to see this,” Twitter user @bizzleharder replied to the post, while @beckyismydrug wrote, “Damm the shade.”

Other fans on the social media site even slammed Selena Gomez for her remarks that appeared to call out Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas.

“Oh look [Selena] shading Demi, I guess she is pressed because no one would pay that much to watch her lip sync,” Twitter user @GabryelleGabbs hit back.

“[Selena] should be more preoccupied in learning how to sing live instead of being preoccupied with how much Demi’s M&G costs,” the social media user added.

The latest alleged drama between Selena and Demi comes just weeks after numerous sources claimed that a slew of Gomez’s friends all unfollowed Lovato on social media after she posted a photo of herself with model Hailey Baldwin, who is rumoured to have been romantically linked with Gomez’s ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber.

Seventeen reported in May that Selena, Taylor Swift, Gigi Hadid, Lily Aldridge, Karlie Kloss, Este Haim, Danielle Haim, and Alana Haim all clicked the unfollow button after Lovato posted the snap of herself and Baldwin together at the MET gala, suggesting that Gomez and Lovato haven’t been seeing eye to eye for months.

Despite Demi and Selena previously being close, even starring alongside each other in the 2009 Disney Channel Original Movie Princess Protection Program, Lovato recently admitted in a candid interview with Complex that she and her former bestie no longer speak.

When asked if she and Selena are still in contact, Demi simply replied “nope,” admitting that she and Gomez have drifted apart in recent years.

“You know, when you’re young and you get older, you change and people change,” Demi said of the current status of her relationship with Gomez. “You have things in common, and then all of a sudden, you don’t. It’s just a part of life.”
