Carole Radziwill Thinks Luann Just Flipped Out Over Adam For Dramatic Effect On ‘RHONY’

Carole Radziwill has become close friends with Bethenny Frankel on The Real Housewives of New York, and she was close with all of her co-stars for a while. But when she met Adam Kenworthy and started dating him, Luann de Lesseps questioned their friendship. Rather than address the issue with Carole head-on, Luann thought it would be much better to call out Carole on social media for dating her personal chef and pointing to their age difference. She downright called Radziwill a pedophile for her decision to date Adam, who is much younger. Now, over a year later, Carole reveals that she doesn’t really care about rebuilding a friendship with de Lesseps, but she does think that Luann cares for her as a friend.

According to a new Bravo report, Carole Radziwill is now revealing that the whole fight with Luann is turning into something really stupid for her. The two cannot get along because de Lesseps is very insensitive to the whole thing. Plus, she never apologized to Radziwill for calling her a pedophile for all to see.

“Let’s see, what else? Oh, this dumb Luann thing. Luann and I are fine. We’re not going to be close friends. So what? This isn’t the first social circle I’ve been in where I wasn’t every single person’s best friend, jumping at the chance to go on vacation together. Simply said, my friendship with Luann couldn’t withstand the assault. It was collateral damage. Fine. The good news is we all don’t have to be great friends. It’s really okay,” Carole Radziwill explains on her blog for The Real Housewives of New York, revealing that she’s been saying this about her friendship with the Countess for months.

Even though these two are not friends, Carole does believe that Luann cares for her in some capacity or another. As she points out in her blog, Radziwill also cares for Luann’s happiness. She showed this to her co-star on last week’s episode, where Carole was one of the only ones to congratulate Luann on her upcoming engagement. But just because they can be cordial and happy for one another doesn’t mean there’s a foundation for a friendship building.

“I’ve been saying this since Bethenny’s BBQ. You don’t always get to hear it, but everyone else in the group has. Yet they keep asking me about it,” Carole Radziwill continues in her blog for The Real Housewives of New York according to Bravo, adding, “Luann doesn’t have to “give a sh– about Carole.” I don’t expect everyone to give a sh– about me. Or like me. Or even be nice to me. If it happens a couple times a year, I’m good. It’s all okay. Luann and I aren’t close, but I actually do give a sh– about her, and I suspect that the feeling is mutual, and Luann just said that for dramatic effect. You don’t have to be besties to sincerely wish the best for someone. Everyone’s good. We’re all good.”

Of course, this is just Carole’s perspective. According to Bustle, Luann doesn’t seem too eager to apologize to Carole. She feels like she has already given Radziwill what she was looking for, which was an apology and an acknowledgment for what she had done in the past. Maybe this wasn’t the approach that Carole had hoped for, but it sounds like this is all she’s getting. At least Carole is willing to be civil, which is more than fans could expect.

What do you think about Carole Radziwill’s comments about Luann? Do you think these two will ever work out their issues?
