Beatles Rock Band: first downloadable content revealed (Sgt. Pepper’s!)
Predictably enough, The Beatles: Rock Band will be supplemented by an avalanche of post-release downloable content. But hey, what to offer fans first? When you’ve got a back catalogue like The Beatles, these choices can be tricky.
Fortunately, developer Harmonix made the right choice. Following the game’s September 9th release, the first three downloadable albums will be Abbey Road (which we already know about), Rubber Soul (immensely under-rated, if you ask me), and quite possibly the most perfect experimental pop album of all time, the revered Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Altogether now: “Woke up, got out of bed, dragged a comb across my head …”
