Blake Shelton Not Ready For Marriage? Gwen Stefani Having ‘Trust Issues’? What Is True And What Is False

Is Blake Shelton having second thoughts about marrying Gwen Stefani?

The country star’s romance with Stefani has steadily heated up over the past couple months, yet he still isn’t ready to pop the big question. Why isn’t Shelton ready to commit?

An inside source told Hollywood Life that Shelton is happier than ever in his relationship with Stefani. While Shelton prepares for another season of The Voice, his life couldn’t be better.

“Blake is having a blast with being on set again for The Voice. He is loving getting ready to be on the road more, and he loves that Gwen is the backbone of all the good things that are happening in his life right now,” the insider revealed.

Despite how well things are going, Shelton isn’t ready to get on bended knee just yet.

“But as much as he is in love with Gwen he is not in much of a rush to get married,” the insider continued.

Apparently, the country crooner is waiting until the time is right to take his relationship to the next level. With so many things happening in Shelton’s life, from working on The Voice to promoting his new album, he doesn’t want to complicate things too much.

“It just isn’t their time right now,” the insider stated. “He is happy with how everything is going with the relationship, but it doesn’t need the extra layer of marriage to it just yet. They are having a good time with things and don’t need to rush into anything at all. That is one major reason why it works because they aren’t rushing into anything. It is nice just to enjoy the process.”

Blake Shelton isn’t the only one with cold feet.

According to International Business Times, Stefani is dealing with her own set of trust issues.

The “Misery” singer is currently on a summer tour and doesn’t like the idea of spending a lot of time without Shelton at her side. In fact, she is afraid that the time apart will end their relationship.

Stefani divorced her husband, Gavin Rossdale, just last summer. The two separated over Rossdale’s affair with their children’s nanny.

To remedy her current situation, Stefani asked Shelton to join her on tour. However, an insider revealed that he “doesn’t want to be her sidekick for two months.”

At the same time, Perez Hilton is reporting that Stefani is struggling with ticket sales for her summer tour. Is she trying to convince Shelton to join her in order to boost revenue?

Gossip Cop claims that these reports are wholly inaccurate and that the pair is not planning on getting married anytime soon.

This isn’t the first time Shelton and Stefani have faced marriage rumors. According to International Business Times, rumors surfaced last month that Shelton bought Stefani a $1.2 million engagement ring.

Of course, an insider revealed that Stefani rejected Shelton’s proposal.

Meanwhile, Inquisitr has previously reported that Shelton and Stefani celebrated the Fourth of July in Miranda Lambert’s former bed and breakfast in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, called The Ladysmith.

The couple was spotted hanging out with friends on The Ladysmith’s balcony and reportedly watched the morning parade through town.

Lambert sold the place following her divorce with Shelton last summer.

It isn’t known if Shelton bought The Ladysmith, though he did purchase Lambert’s Pink Pistol boutique across the street.

“As a resident of Tishomingo I’m very sorry that the Pink Pistol has decided to move its operations out of the area,” Shelton stated. “We all, as a community, appreciate everything it has done for our town. As for the actual properties left behind… I was offered the opportunity to buy them, and I have a plan brewing.”
