President Obama: Bill O’Reilly Reports On Obama’s ‘Muslim Ties,’ Cites ‘Global Threat’ [Video]

According to Bill O’Reilly, decades-old photographs of President Obama in Muslim attire are a testament to the president’s “deep ties” to the Muslim religion. Bill O’Reilly further alleged that, because President Obama once wore the traditional Muslim garb, this may “explain his reluctance” to do anything about radical Islam in America, reports Fox News. Indeed, in his report, Bill O’Reilly says that President Obama’s Muslim ties could pose a global threat.

In the photos of President Obama in traditional Muslim clothing, photos that the cable news outlet is calling “newly unearthed,” Obama is shown dressed for a wedding. The wedding in question was that of President Obama’s half-brother, and it happened in Maryland way back in the early 1990s, roughly 25 years ago.

According to Bill O’Reilly, the photos of President Obama were not shown at this time of great American political upheaval and discontent to demonstrate that Obama is a Muslim. Rather, O’Reilly hoped to demonstrate that because Barack Obama attended a Muslim wedding over two decades ago, he has “deep emotional ties” to the faith.

The faith of his father and stepfather, Bill O’Reilly was quick to point out in his opinion piece.

“There is no question the Obama administration’s greatest failure is allowing the Islamic terror group ISIS to run wild, murdering thousands of innocent people all over the world, including many Muslims. Mr. Obama has never, never acknowledged that mistake, nor does he define the ISIS threat accurately. That group is killing innocent people in order to impose a radical version of Islam on the world. The jihad is solely based on theology, perverted as it may be.”

The photos shown this week by Bill O’Reilly were similar to a photo that circulated back in 2008. That photograph also showed President Obama, who was then still Senator Obama and vying for the Democratic presidential nomination, wearing traditional Muslim attire. In that instance, the photograph was released by the right-wing media outlet, The Drudge Report.

In 2008, the release of the photo of Obama in traditional Muslim clothing was blamed on the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign. At the time, Obama’s campaign called the release of the photograph a “smear” tactic. If that’s indeed what it was, it was ultimately unsuccessful. Obama went on to hand Clinton a surprising defeat in the 2008 Democratic primaries.

Ironically, or perhaps by design, it is once again campaign season as more photos of President Obama wearing Muslim clothing are being released. Once again by a right-wing media outlet.

Could it have something to do with current Democratic presumptive nominee Hillary Clinton’s close ties with Barack Obama and the fact that he recently endorsed her for POTUS? Could it have something to do with the fact that the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, is struggling so badly in current polls (and particularly in the electoral college)?

It’s difficult to say precisely why conservative pundit Bill O’Reilly chose this week to release these photos of President Obama in traditional Muslim clothing, but the possibilities are almost endless.

According to Obama’s official biography, the current POTUS didn’t even meet his older half-brother (whose wedding he was reportedly attending while dressed in traditionally Muslim clothes) until 1985. Malik Obama, who shares the same biological father as President Obama, currently lives out of the United States in Kenya.

As Esquire reports, Bill O’Reilly was short on facts and big on assumptions during his op-ed piece on Barack Obama’s deep and emotional ties to Islam. He flatly said during the segment that he only “believes” that President Obama attended his half-brother’s wedding decades ago, and that he “may have” been the best man. As if attending or even participating in a Muslim wedding makes someone unable to tell good from bad.

“Barack Obama’s father, who abandoned his family, was a Muslim who eventually turned atheist. Then his mother married another Muslim, moving Barry to Indonesia where he was exposed to the Islamic world, even though he did attend a Catholic school in the first grade.”

Despite attending a Catholic school, apparently Bill O’Reilly believes the mere exposure to the Islamic world was enough to turn President Obama into an untrustworthy sympathizer.
