‘Arrow’ And ‘The Flash’ Universe: ‘The Flash’ Gains This ‘Harry Potter’ Villain, Echo Kellum Discusses Suiting Up On ‘Arrow,’ And The CW To Run Season 1 Of This Show

Arrow and The Flash are headed for very different seasons this fall, even though the Flashpoint Paradox could very well affect the entire DCTV Universe. The Inquisitr has covered the Arrow Season 5 entry of Artemis and Wilddog, but little has been made known about The Flash Season 3. According to TV Line, The Flash Season 3 has just added a Harry Potter baddie to its line-up. Tom Felton, who played the much maligned Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, is coming to the Central City Police Department’s CSI unit. This, of course, is the current day job of The Flash.

Felton plays The Flash Season 3 character Julian Dorn, and we are told that he “suspects there’s more to Barry Allen than just his good guy reputation.” This doesn’t sound too unfamiliar, but just who is Julian Dorn? The name represents a character created specifically for CW’s The Flash, but one theory provided by Movie Pilot gives fans one curious possibility. Godspeed, another villainous speedster from the current DC Rebirth comic book arc could be the answer to this mystery.

The Flash Rebirth villain works for the Central City Police Department, so that would fit well with Tom Felton’s propensity for playing villains, and is a close match for the Season 3 mystery character’s description.

Arrow Season 5 has some notable changes coming, as aforementioned, and one of those potential changes is something Echo Kellum (Curtis Holt) has been pleading for. ComicBook reports that Echo Kellum suggested that Arrow Season 5 will be “the season” his character gets the Mr. Terrific costume, and suits up to fight alongside Team Arrow.

“Yes, yes. Second that! Where is my costume? Guggenheim, if you’re listening, or reading, whatever: Where’s my costume? No, I definitely want to suit up really bad. But I understand. It’s this arc. You’ve got to build up to it. But I definitely hope — and I believe, hopefully, within this season we should see Curtis Holt get there in some capacity. So I’m really looking forward to all that’s happening.”

Echo Kellum is quite giddy and excited about suiting up and playing Mr. Terrific. Echo Kellum’s character Curtis Holt/Mr. Terrific has proven to be very intelligent, equal to, or smarter than, the smartest Arrow character Felicity Smoak. Kellum gushed about this and the science background of his character as well.

“That’s something that’s really fascinating about the character, because everything that we know and have as human beings is all predicated through science. So whether he’s going through dimensions or whatnot, it’s just really cool to see someone really delve into that. Because we need more scientists. We need more people helping forward humanity.”

Supergirl is headed to The Flash and Arrow universe this fall, as the CBS show becomes a CW show for its second season. Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl fans have very little information as to how Superman’s cousin fits into the grand CW DCTV Universe that they are constructing for later this year. However, if you are a Supergirl newcomer or superfan, reports indicate that Supergirl Season 1 will air on the CW ahead of the Season 2 premiere.

Supergirl newcomers will be able to catch up before the Season 2 premiere this fall, if they have not already digitally recorded Season 1 from CBS.

CW’s DCTV Universe is about to change dramatically this fall, or at least The Flash certainly is, and Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl are all part of their DCTV Universe.

What will the Fall 2016 DCTV Universe look like? Will the Flashpoint Paradox radically alter the entire DCTV landscape, or will The Flash be the sole beneficiary of the effects caused from Barry Allen’s blunder?
