Kim Kardashian Flaunts 60-Lb Weight Loss In Sexy New Photo Amid Shootings, Gets Slammed

Kim Kardashian is baring her breasts in a new sexy selfie that reveals the success of her post-baby weight loss diet. Turning to Instagram to show off her newly whittled waistline, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has combined working out with dieting ever since her second baby was born, reported People.

“Pre photo shoot fittings,” wrote Kim, 35, for her mirror selfie.

The plunging one-piece bathing suit did justice to Kardashian’s famous hourglass figure, with the choice of a black swimsuit contrasting with her June fling with a sexy white one-piece from her husband Kanye West’s Yeezy line.

After dieting and exercising for more than six months, Kim has been busy showing off the results. The reality TV star posed for a semi-nude GQ photoshoot and turned heads with her role in the racy “M.I.L.F. $” music video from Fergie.

The race to take off her post-pregnancy pounds began after Kardashian and Kanye welcomed their second child into the world in December. Kim set a goal of shedding 70 pounds by using the Atkins 40 weight loss diet.

Kardashian quickly lost more than 40 pounds in the first three months by eliminating all sugar while consuming a protein-rich diet with healthy fats. She ate up to 1,800 calories daily.

At this point, Kim has almost reached her goal weight of 120 pounds, which she refers to as “2010 Kim.”

Among those admiring the results of Kardashian’s hard work to lose her weight was photographer Mert Alas. He shared his awe at her figure on his account, noted E! News.

“Literally dropped my phone on the gym floor!!! Thats what happens when u get a selfie from KKW @kimkardashian babe looking hot #body.”

“She’s been working out twice a day with cardio and then a class, like Pilates,” shared the insider. “She’s doing a strict Atkins plan and eating about 20 grams of carbs a day. She’s really happy with the results.”

But while Kardashian is happy with her weight loss success, her Instagram swimsuit photo is becoming filled with criticism, pointed out the Huffington Post.

Kim posted the sexy swimsuit photo amid the news about the deadly police shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, causing some to question her focus and timing.

One critic pointed out to Kardashian that she should feel concerned for her husband Kanye and son Saint West.

“@kimkardashian are you aware of the killings of black men that have been happening? Your husband and son are black. Are you concerned?” questioned that commentator.

Others urged Kim to make use of her fame to put the focus on the #BlackLivesMatter movement.

“How about speaking on something relevant like #altonsterling?? Your voice could be influential in getting the non Blacks to actually participate in his movement,” noted another.

And there were those who were sarcastic in their comments about what they saw as Kardashian’s lack of attention to the most recent news in the nation.

“Wow way to be oblivious to what’s happening in America. Sooooo Glad you’re using ur celebrity for good….”

However, Kardashian did retweet a post from John Legend.

Kardashian shared her new sexy swimsuit selfie on Twitter as well, receiving more backlash for her focus on her body rather than on the latest deadly shootings.

Amid the critics, some also addressed Kanye, questioning why West was not concerned about his son’s safety.

“I’m confused as to why y’all haven’t spoken out yet since y’all have a black son and act like this couldn’t be him @KimKardashian @kanyewest,” tweeted one such Twitter user.

Kanye turned to Twitter to direct his followers to Instagram.
