‘RHOC’ Meghan King Edmonds & Husband Jim Edmonds Are Selling Their Newport Home

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan King Edmonds and her husband, Jim, are selling a home they bought and remodeled in Newport Beach, California, as they await the birth of their child.

Earlier this week, after Meghan King Edmonds was seen hosting a kitchen demolition party on the Bravo reality series, the couple put their 5,077-square-foot home on the market for just under $3.4 million after buying the place in June 2015 for around $2.8 million.

During an early episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 11, Meghan King Edmonds and her co-stars were seen preparing to gut her kitchen with a power saw, hammers, and an ax as she and husband Jim embarked on an extensive remodel. However, the couple’s gourmet kitchen, which boasts quartz countertops, a wine fridge, a subway tile backsplash, floating shelves, and stainless steel appliances, was just the beginning of their renovation.

“The master retreat of the five-bedroom house includes a fireplace and a sliding, reclaimed barn door leading to a bathroom with a large marble shower, claw-foot tub and his and her vanities,” the Orange County Register revealed to readers on July 7, and “french doors, hardwood floors, high ceilings and designer lighting are among the home’s interior touches.”

In other Meghan King Edmonds news, the reality star has been seen undergoing in-vitro fertilization during the currently airing season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, and when the show premiered last month, she revealed the process was successful.

“I’m so over the moon, I couldn’t believe it the first time I peed on a stick and I saw that little line kind of get a little darker,” Meghan King Edmonds revealed to People Magazine last month. “I’ve always dreamed of this, but it’s still such a miracle. I can’t even describe the feeling.”

During the Season 11 trailer, Meghan King Edmonds is seen announcing plans to start a family with her husband, and now, after about 2 years of marriage, she is four months pregnant with a baby girl and due later this year around the holidays.

Although Meghan King Edmonds is currently feeling good and filled with energy, the road to her first pregnancy wasn’t easy.

“We went through IVF and fortunately we got pregnant the first time,” Edmonds said, revealing that her husband underwent a vasectomy prior to their marriage and froze his sperm.

“It was just such a long process with the IVF, step by step by step with so much information,” Meghan King Edmonds recalled.

And during the process of IVF, Meghan King Edmonds was forced to undergo drug stimulation injections, which resulted in the swelling of her ovaries.

“I was swollen and in pain and it hurt to even sit straight up. It was awful. And then the recovery from that was hard,” she said.

Now, however, all the pain is in the past, and after wrapping production on the 11th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Meghan King Edmonds is looking forward to meeting her first child — and enjoying all of the perks pregnancy has had to offer.

“I’m so excited. I finally have a bum! For the first time in my life I can twerk,” she revealed.
