Taylor Swift Conspiracy Theory: Romance With Tom Hiddleston Is Just An Elaborate Music Video Shoot

If you are a frequent internet browser, you have probably heard about the Taylor Swift conspiracy theory circling around that her relationship with Tom Hiddleston is just an elaborate music video shoot. Swift and Hiddleston began a whirlwind, fairytale romance very shortly after Swift’s breakup with her former flame, Calvin Harris.

The couple, who have only been dating only about a month, has been very public with their blossoming relationship. Hiddleston was even seen last weekend sporting a “I Love TS” tank top while swimming in the ocean with friends. The actor also had a temporary heart-shaped tattoo with the letter “T” in the center. The two have made no efforts to hide their relationship at all. In fact, it is quite the opposite. Could the couple just be filming an extravagant music video à la Lemonade?

Taylor Swift’s loyal fans, known as her “Swifties,” seem to have mixed feelings about Taylor jumping into a new relationship. Some of them are still trying to get over her breakup with Calvin Harris! You would think that they were the ones in the relationship.

Tom and Taylor were first seen together on June 15, when British tabloid the Sun tweeted a shot of the two kissing on a beach in Rhode Island.

The two look so perfect up on that rock; it could have been a photo shoot. Better yet, a video shoot.

“Hiddleswift” was born on those rocks in Rhode Island and internet has been crawling with stories about the couple in the weeks since.

Fans and critics seem to have come up with this Taylor Swift conspiracy theory that the whole romance is actually a piece of performance art for a music video.

The relationship seems to be on fast-forward mode, as Tom has recently pronounced his love to Taylor publicly — fans are increasingly joining the conspiracy theory side.

Taylor Swift was thought to have been quite distraught after her breakup with deejay Calvin Harris, but it seems the pop star quickly got over her ex and under another to forget all about him. Calvin Harris who?

“Swifties” across the internet are hypothesizing that Taylor is actually trolling the entire world and is planning a major comeback with a visual album using videos to tell a story. Fans claim that Swift has habitually released an album every two years throughout her career and they have yet to hear from Taylor about an upcoming album.

Fans also theorize that she will release a single for the supposed album around September which is just in time for the Emmy Awards.

The Tom Hiddleston/Taylor Swift conspiracy theory also leads us to believe that this arranged relationship would be beneficial for both of them. Hiddleston has been nominated for his performance in The Night Manager, which would maximize publicity for both of them if Taylor were to release a single or video at that time. Hmm — what excellent timing for both of them.

Celebrities have been known to “forge” some relationships with other celebrities for the purpose of gaining publicity for a movie, album, etc. So is the Taylor Swift conspiracy theory really that far-fetched?

Taylor and Tom have been soaking in the sun and making sure the camera catches loads of PDA for the tabloids, but did you know that they have been followed by the same paparazzi agency? If this whole thing is a ploy to make people think they are together, it sure makes sense that they would hire paparazzi to follow them and get some great shots.

Some people have even gone as far as to suggest that some of the paparazzi they hired have been disguising themselves in street clothes as members of the public and filmed the couple on their phones.

Well, this might explain why every photo opportunity of the couple has literally looked like something out of a movie.

There has already been a romantic trip to Rome, enjoyed long walks on the beach, holiday parties with friends, and met each other’s parents — all in less than a month of dating! That is a lot to do with someone you just started seeing, especially after just getting out of a relationship weeks prior. It is like she just placed Tom in Calvin’s place and continued on with the relationship.

THIS IS ALL TOO MUCH.

It is almost like Swift is trying to play the boy-crazy serial dater from her “Blank Space” video. The video was supposed to be a clap-back at the media and the public’s false perception of her, but now, that is exactly what she is portraying herself to be.

Taylor Swift is no dummy. The woman has seen loads of success, gained a loyal fan base, and has turned herself into a brand name by the time she was in her mid-twenties. Swift isn’t likely to make rash decisions without thinking it out first — which makes this relationship seem too good to be true.

“Orange Is The New Black” actress, Ruby Rose, and close friend of Swift, defended the couple’s relationship and snapped back at all the haters on Instagram.

“I get it that [people] invest in couples and root for them, and it’s sweet, but that relationship is still only between two people. If the relationship ends, why do people assume something happened or someone is to blame? Why do they think they know anything about the relationship, [that they are]… able to make a better call than those in it?

“If a woman moves on from a relationship eight months (or two weeks) after a breakup, isn’t that beautiful? That someone can still continue to open their hearts to people despite [the] times in their lives I’m sure it’s been broken. It’s not an insult to every ex they have ever had. New love never erases old love. It’s a separate thing, a new entity.”

Is the media just overly obsessed with Taylor Swift and her many relationships? Do you think Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift are actually in love? Should we just give the girl a break?

Or do you think Taylor Swift is pulling a fast one on us? Does the Taylor Swift conspiracy theory hold some truth? Will you be waiting for the release of her latest visual album to drop?

One thing is for sure –we just can’t seem to look away from Hiddleswift. And that might be exactly what they want.
