Rihanna Just One Of The Celebrities Paying Homage To 11th Anniversary Of 9/11
Today marks the 11th anniversary commemorating the attacks that happened on September 11, 2001 when thousands of lives were lost during a terrorist attack on The World Trade Center. To pay homage for those who lost their lives, and those who lent a helping hand on that day, people all over the world have dedicated their Facebook statuses, tweets, and personal messages in memory.
Among those people are the celebrities who have also decided to remember those who were lost on September 11 by tweeting various messages of support for America. Joan Rivers left a lengthy tweet stating, “Today, we pay tribute to the innocent Americans’ lives lost 11 years ago. My heart goes out to the families and friends of all the victims.” While New York resident Alec Baldwin simply put, “9-11” to honor the day.
