Mama June Of Honey Boo Boo Fame Has A Questionable New Career — And She’s Taking It On The Road

Mama June Shannon, of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo fame, found herself at a loss after TLC abruptly cancelled her family’s show in light of the child molestation scandal Mama June brought on herself. Through frugality, which Mama June claims she learned over a lifetime of living paycheck-to-paycheck, the family matriarch has been able to keep her family afloat, even while redecorating the new home they purchased.

But now, according to reports from Page Six, the one-time pageant mom and reality TV star has a new career. And you can catch her on the circuit yourself — if you are willing to go see her at your local strip club.

Yes. That’s right. Mama June Shannon is now on an official strip club tour.

Hey, a woman has to provide for her family, right?

As recently as a year ago, Mama June took herself on tour of “America’s finest gentlemen’s clubs,” which is a much nicer way of saying strip joints, of course. And now, Mama June is all set to appear in various “gentlemen’s clubs” in Baltimore, Oklahoma, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas throughout the month of July.

However, although Mama June will be appearing at strip clubs, she won’t be baring it all. Stripping is not on her agenda right now, no matter where she may be appearing. Instead, the reality TV star will participate in two-hour-long “meet-and-greets.” The events will feature Mama June walking the red carpet, and posing with her fans, at each separate venue.

Yes, Mama June still has fans.

In fact, her first round of tours in strip clubs throughout the United States were a wild success. Strip club owners who booked her last year state that Mama June was a big hit, and that she’s basically been in demand ever since her first round of strip club tours.

And Mama June’s strip club tours aren’t just popular — they are pretty lucrative for Mama June, too. According to TMZ, June Shannon is expected to earn $20,000 for just the four appearances at the strip clubs.

Four appearances at two hours each equals eight hours. And at $20,000 for the four appearances, it looks like Mama June will be raking in $2,500 per hour. Love her or hate her, Mama June is definitely a survivor. Not many can claim to bring in that type of hourly wage!

Mama June has riders, in addition to her whopping $20,000 payment. Her hotel rooms and airfare will be covered while on her strip club tour. In fact, when she heads to Las Vegas, that veritable capital of gentleman’s clubs, she’ll be flying on a private jet with her other hosts, who will appear with her in both Las Vegas and Los Angeles. One co-host is rapper Bubba Sparxxx. Another is porn star Jesse Jane. And yet another strip club co-host is Little Sassee Cassee, who is billed as the “world’s smallest entertainer.”

It certainly sounds like it’s going to be quite the tour.

Just remember to leave your dollar bills at home, since Mama June will be leaving her clothes on.
