Louis Tomlinson Sparks ‘Justice For Fathers’ Outcry, Harry Styles Doesn’t Want To Be A Star?

A major entertainment rag is claiming that Harry Styles does not want to be a star anymore. Meanwhile, a petition demanding justice for fathers who wish to co-parent children is gathering signatures — and Louis Tomlinson’s fight for joint custody of his son Freddie is the case that inspired it.

MTV has published a report claiming that Harry Styles deliberately timed his solo career announcement to coincide with the EU referendum debate, because Harry doesn’t want his solo career to get too much attention!

The piece by journalist Anne T. Donahue points out that Harry’s three-album solo deal with Columbia was signed and announced with little fanfare and did not get nearly as much attention as the announcement of Zayn Malik’s solo plans last year.

Donahue claims that “the masses simply weren’t bothered” about the Styles solo news, and this may have been due to a strategic move on Harry’s part. The announcement of the Harry Styles/Columbia deal hit the press just as the people of Britain were hitting the polling booths to vote in the EU referendum. The announcement that Britain had voted for a Brexit, i.e. for Britain to leave the EU, rocked the British government and EU establishment and indeed, the world.

MTV also notes that Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift’s recent walks along the beach got more press than Harry’s solo career. So did Kanye West’s adjustments to his album Life of Pablo in the lead-up to its release, according to Donahue.

[Harry Styles] already knows what being a mass phenomenon is like, and he’s saying “nah.”

The report also claims that Harry, who is currently filming for Dunkirk, has not been seen on the party circuit or social media since the One Direction hiatus began, and that must mean he “wants his superstar days to be behind him.”

He’s not on red carpets, he’s not out partying or Snapchatting or even tweeting. Instead, he’s on movie sets and running errands; he’s pictured shopping, but never debuting those new clothes at star-studded events. His actions tell us that he wants his superstar days to be behind him.

Other outlets have speculated that Harry Styles will pursue a low-key solo career modeled on the career of Harry’s boyband predecessor Justin Timberlake.

Styles himself has reportedly said that he views Timberlake as an inspiration and possible role model, reports IBT.

“Harry prefers LA because he could be a real star over there. He wants a solo career like Justin Timberlake’s.”

In other One Direction news, a shared parenting advocacy organization called Fathers 4 Justice has taken up the Louis Tomlinson case and created a Change.org petition asking Briana Jungwirth to give Louis Tomlinson 50/50 access to their son Freddie Reign.

The campaigners argue that “having a father is a human right.”

Louis Tomlinson is demanding shared custody of Freddie and also asking that Briana stop posting pictures of their son on social media in the lead-up to the court battle, reports Perez Hilton. Tomlinson reportedly believes that Briana has been denying him consistent access to Freddie because she is jealous of Louis’ new girlfriend, actress Danielle Campbell.

The text of the Louis Tomlinson Change.org petition gives more information about the Fathers4Justice movement. The group writes that it is important “to ensure children retain the love and care of their dads in the event their parents separate [and] that’s why Fathers4Justice campaigns for 50/50 shared parenting as a starting point when couples with children separate.”

We call on Briana Jungwirth to give Louis Tomlinson 50/50 parenting rights to their son Freddie. We ask her to lead by example and avoid a senseless and damaging court battle, because the best parent for a child is both parents. The cancer of family breakdown and fatherlessness has a devastating impact on children and families, and has left millions of kids without a father.

Larries are already commenting on the post calling it “embarrassing” and telling the father custody campaigners that they have been duped.

Many One Direction fans still believe that Louis Tomlinson is not really a father, and that the baby pictured in Briana Jungwirth’s timeline photos and other images is either a doll or not Louis Tomlinson’s son.

Freddie needs best of both his parents, not the worst. Briana can lead the way by showing other mums that 50/50 shared parenting is the only direction.
