Christie Brinkley Turns Hose On Woman Who Pees In Her Yard And Defends Her Actions On Facebook

While most Americans had to contend with illegal fireworks and perhaps too many hot dogs or too much sun exposure during the holiday weekend, Christie Brinkley had her Independence Day celebration disrupted by a woman who peed on the beach in front of Brinkley’s exclusive Hampton home, causing the supermodel to turn a garden hose on the unwelcome reveler.

Brinkley lives on Sag Harbor Cove in the exclusive Hamptons. The former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model went to Facebook to defend herself after several articles in publications such as Page Six and The Daily Mail wrote about the brouhaha.

The publications explained that Erica Remkus could not find any sort of bathroom facilities after the two-hour Hamptons fireworks spectacular. The 36-year-old could no longer hold it in, so she just urinated right there in the sand. In public. In front of Christie’s guests. This is why the furious Brinkley turned her hose on the woman after the exchange between the supermodel and the mother of three became heated and the woman peed right there on the beach.

Remkus stated that Brinkley started to shout at the woman as she relieved herself. Remkus recalls that the former Cover Girl declared that she lived in the stately mansion adjacent to the beach for the past 15 years and called the intruder “disgusting.” Brinkley continued the personal attacks as she scolded Remkus.

“How dare you want to come pee on my rocks — I walk on those rocks,”

Remkus had her own comeback to the supermodel.

“If you were a real local you’d invite me in to use your bathroom.”

When Remkus squatted down to pee, Christie whipped out her smartphone and filmed the woman doing the public act on the beach. How did Remkus respond? With a four-letter expletive.

Remkus told the media that the closest bathroom was about a half hour away and she was not sure that the doors to those facilities were even open. Remkus insists that she had peed on public property and should not have been admonished by Christie Brinkley.

What made matters worse is that the model called the Southhampton police. The officers arrived at the scene of the incident, but no arrests were made.

Even a couple of days after the incident, Brinkley was still peeved. She used social media to express her anger.

“I know it’s Independence Day but that does not mean ‘free to pee’ in front of my guests and me at my fireworks gathering, Maybe the trespasser should celebrate ‘Depends Day’ as she apparently thinks she lives in ‘The Land of the Pee.’ “

She then explained why she had to hose down the disgusting bodily fluids from her property, all the while the woman was assaulting her with objects.

“I was forced to hose down her mess after she urinated in my yard all the while throwing things at me.”

The 62-year old model’s home is situated right on the Sag Harbor Cove beach. On her Facebook post, Brinkley wishes her fans a more festive and carefree holiday than the one that disrupted her own.

“My wish for everyone on this Fourth of July is… May you live in the Land of the Free from belligerent drunken stalkers with weak bladders and foul mouths. That’s not too much to ask right?”

There was no word on whether Christie’s rock star boyfriend John “Cougar” Mellencamp was part of the group of people at her home enjoying the fireworks display outside. What she did mention was her new Prosecco, an Italian-style bubbly.

“Peace! I’ll raise my glass of Bellissima Prosecco to that! Cheers, Happy 4th everyone.”

Remkus is still considering filing harassment charges against Christie Brinkley.
