‘Days Of Our Lives’: Is Andre Telling Chad The Truth About Abigail? [Spoilers]

Days Of Our Lives fans are not sure what to make of Andre DiMera. On Monday’s episode, the soap opera character told Chad DiMera that Abigail Devereaux gave him the letter. Andre also told the grieving husband a story about trying to convince Abigail to stay. However, is he telling the truth or is there something more sinister going on?

As previously reported by The Inquistr, DOOL spoilers for the week of July 4 stated that Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) may know more about Abigail’s (Kate Mansi) disappearance than he initially led on. That has proven to be an understatement and know some fans think he is directly involved.

On yesterday’s episode of Days Of Our Lives, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) questioned Andre about it after reading Abigail’s letter. Although it was her handwriting, it didn’t sound like her. Even Ciara Brady (Vivian Jovanni) was suspicious that Abigail may have been forced or convinced to write it.

Later, Chad went to Andre’s hotel room and tried to get answers. Penghlis’ character on Days Of Our Lives admitted he lied about one thing. Andre claimed that he found Abigail at the DiMera mansion, but she didn’t plan on staying. Andre claimed that he tried to get Abby to stick around, but she was determined to leave. So, was he telling the truth or not?

Unfortunately, Days Of Our Lives spoilers don’t give specific details about Abigail’s disappearance and if Andre is involved. However, it seems likely that he is somehow linked. Don’t believe for a second that he didn’t tell Chad that Abigail gave him the letter to save the young father from “further trauma.” Andre doesn’t care about other people and if he omitted information, it was for a specific reason.

However, it also seems unlikely that he thought of using Abigail from the start. He probably encountered Abby at the DiMera mansion and decided to use the opportunity as a way to get what he wanted. Does his plan have anything to do with soap opera spoilers from She Knows? The website stated that later this week, a downed plane will give Andre an idea. Will he try to use the tragedy to convince everyone that Abigail was on board and is dead? If so, why would he do this?

It seems that Andre DiMera has a lot of coals in the fire right now. On Monday’s episode of Days Of Our Lives, he muttered to himself that there was so much to do and such little time. Andre wants to get back at Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) for framing him for murder. He always suspected Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) was guilty of killing Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo). Andre also wants to be the one in the DiMera mansion, not Chad. Once the DiMera money is returned, which spoilers suggest will happen soon, Andre will want all of it for himself.

He also wants that run-down piece of property just outside Salem and apparently Aiden Jennings (Daniel Cosgrove) is supposed to buy it. However, Andre seemed a little too giddy when down in the basement. He has a plan and it is likely that the basement is going to be a place where he can hide someone. Putting the property in someone else’s name would protect him legally, as long as he doesn’t get caught doing anything. Does Andre plan on keeping Abigail in the basement of that run-down house? Will that be Aiden’s next assignment? When Marci Miller debuts as Kate Mansi’s replacement in fall 2016, will she be tortured, brainwashed, or will she be found safe?
