‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Ian Takes Another Hostage, Sharon Gets Tricked, And Everybody In Genoa City Is Left Scrambling

Monday brings a wild episode of The Young and the Restless. Spoilers share that there is plenty more action at the courthouse as Ian’s escape plan progresses. Victor has been shot, and Nikki has been taken hostage, but there is more chaos on the way. Where are things headed during the July 4 show?

As viewers saw on Friday, Billy went to see Phyllis at the cabin, and they were intimate again. The Young and the Restless spoilers from SheKnows Soaps detail that they will talk about their feelings for one another as Billy says he wants them to find a way to be openly together, and she admits that she loves him. She wants some time alone to think through all of this, and he leaves, noting that it is the last time he will have to walk away.

Ian shot Victor at the courthouse as he worked to escape, and Young and Restless spoilers detail that in the midst of the chaos, Victor will be able to detail that Ian was responsible for the shooting. He will also note that Ian took Nikki, and Adam yells at his father as Victor is rushed to the hospital. Christine and Michael will butt heads over the case a bit before Chris and Paul head to the hospital.

Billy and Jack will cross paths at the Club and discuss the shooting. The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Jack will urge Billy to go support Victoria, but Billy dismisses the idea. Jack tries to call Phyllis from Billy’s phone, but she doesn’t answer. The two brothers will talk about how Jack’s marriage has been facing some difficulties, but Jack insists that they will work through things.

The Young and the Restless spoilers note that Phyllis will make a move to answer the phone at the cabin, but before she can, We Love Soaps shares that Ian and Nikki rush through the door. He will be giddy over being able to have both Phyllis and Nikki as hostages, and he ties them up. The two women will try to get to Phyllis’ cell phone during a moment alone, and they try to turn the tables on him.

Adam, Chelsea, and Dylan will talk at the penthouse as Dylan questions whether the two helped Ian with his escape plan. They insist they aren’t responsible, but Young and Restless spoilers detail that Dylan will believe that they provided the opportunity that Ian needed. Soon Michael arrives, and Chelsea and Adam will admit to him that they had convinced Ian they would help him, but they explain that they ultimately did not. However, this leaves Michael quite concerned.

The last that viewers saw of Sharon and Mariah, Sharon had knocked out Mariah in the midst of having visions of Sage. Kevin had arrived, and Young and Restless spoilers share that he will rush to help her. Sharon will be rambling about how she had to get rid of “her,” leaving Kevin quite perplexed. Mariah will regain consciousness, and as Sharon runs to get ice for her, Mariah fills Kevin in on some of what happened.

Kevin and Mariah will decide that Sharon needs to go to the hospital, so they trick her into going with them under the premise of having Mariah checked out. They manage to get to a doctor who tells Sharon that she needs to get back on her medications or she will have to be sedated, and she is quite upset that she was tricked. She is admitted to the hospital, and Dylan catches up to them.

Mariah tells Dylan that Sharon just had a panic attack after hearing about the shooting, and Kevin will be upset with her for lying. The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that during the discussion, Mariah will admit to Kevin that Sharon thought she was lashing out at Sage.

The Newmans will gather at the hospital, and Meredith will tell Nick and Victoria that Victor will fully recover. Victor tears into Paul and Christine and tells Vikki and Nick to point the finger at Adam for Ian’s escape. He tells Meredith that he lied about her to help Adam, and he will tell his children about how everything he does is for the sake of the family. The Young and the Restless spoilers detail that Meredith will be listening in as he says this, surely leading her to question all that has transpired between her and Victor.

Will Nikki and Phyllis manage to find a way to turn the tables on Ian? What comes next for Billy and Jack in this love triangle and can Adam manage to stay out of jail? The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that there is plenty more drama on the way this week, and fans will not want to miss what comes next.
