Jaden Smith And Sarah Snyder: Maybe Will And Jada Don’t Mind The Relationship After All [Video]

For months, Jaden Smith’s relationship with Sarah Snyder has been in the news, and it’s been labeled “controversial” and even “cradle robbing.” There have been dogged rumors that Jaden’s famous folks, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, aren’t pleased in the slightest about 17-year-old Jaden’s relationship with the notorious bad girl Snyder, who’s in her 20s. Now, however, a report is circulating that Jaden Smith’s parent’s don’t mind their talented teenage son dating someone with a less-than-sterling reputation, after all.

According to a report by PopDust, Jaden Smith’s mom and pop don’t care that their son’s dating Snyder. Far from it, says the report.

Jaden Smith and Sarah Snyder were first linked as a couple last September. The pair were spotted getting hot and heavy at a New York Fashion Week show hosted by Kanye West, and almost immediately the media started buzzing about the adult Snyder’s “troubled past,” with a lot of people voicing concern about her association with Jaden.

Jaden Smith’s lady love was arrested last year for felony theft. According to accusations, Sarah Snyder stole a $16,000 Hermes purse from her friend’s place. She spent a little bit of time in jail, and made several court appearances (once famously sporting a shirt featuring her mug shot); the charges against the aspiring model were ultimately dropped.

She was also arrested, according to MugShots.com, in North Carolina for larceny, breaking and entering, and conspiracy. Sarah Snyder’s mug shot, and a list of charges, is available here.

In addition to her legal troubles, largely theft-related, Sarah Snyder found herself back under the media microscope this summer. This time around, the 21-year-old stunner was featured in a YouTube video snorting a white substance identified by the person recording the video as cocaine.

The voice calling the white powder “cocaine” is purportedly that of Jaden Smith himself, although the speaker is never seen on camera.

The voice in the background of the YouTube video is also heard telling Sarah Snyder to do more lines of the self-described cocaine.

Not long after the video surfaced of Sarah Snyder snorting what is believed to have been cocaine, rumors began to swirl that Jaden Smith’s relationship with the adult model was being frowned upon by his loved ones, including his famous, Hollywood royalty parents.

Despite questions that his relationship with the now-notorious Sarah Snyder might be harmful to his career, that doesn’t seem to be the case. Jaden Smith is about to embark on a new career as a Netflix star for his role in The Get Down. He’s also finding success as a gender-bending Louis Vuitton model, having used his gender fluid personal style to score the job of the fashion label’s newest face of women’s fashion.

As it stands, it’s been estimated that Jaden Smith is worth about $8 million in his own right, through his music, movie, and modeling careers. He’s also rumored to be getting ready to drop a much-anticipated debut album in the very near future.

Maybe that’s why reports are coming in that Jada and Will are less angry about Jaden’s relationship with Sarah Snyder than earlier headlines, most coming from “sources close to the Smith family,” would suggest.

In fact, a new report, also from a confidential source, indicates that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith have “no problem at all” with son Jaden’s girlfriend.

“They’ve always given both him and Willow a lot of freedom, and they respect their choices. They totally trust their kids, and as a family they have a totally open dialogue at all times. They like Sarah a lot, and they know that all kids f**k up. Will and Jada believe messing-up is part of growing-up, and they know Jaden has a good moral compass.”

While that doesn’t sound like much of a rousing endorsement for the relationship, what with all of the references to “messing up,” it does sound like Will and Jada are willing to let the relationship between Sarah Snyder and soon-to-be 18-year-old Jaden Smith slide.
