The ‘Misfit Garage’ Crew Returns With Their Reputation On The Line [Spoilers]

The third season of Misfit Garage wrapped up with an unfinished build and a lot of angry words exchanged with a very important client. Since its inception, the mechanics at Fired Up Garage have had one goal in mind, and that was to give Fast N’ Loud‘s Richard Rawlings and his Gas Monkey Garage a real run for their money. That may be easier said than done, especially if the Misfit Garage crew doesn’t make things right with Sue Martin, and get her 1956 Ford truck finished to her satisfaction.

According to Hidden Remote, the new season of Misfit Garage picks right up where viewers were left off, and it wasn’t good. Sue, who also happens to be the one the Misfit Garage mechanics turn to when they need upholstery work done, wasn’t happy with how progress was coming along on her truck, and she brought Richard in, saying they were going to take the truck and Richard was going to finish the work. Needless to say, that didn’t go well at all and an argument quickly erupted. Once the shouting was over, it was decided that Thomas Weeks, Tom Smith, Jordan Butler, Kevin Clark, John Klump, and Josh Paris had 48 hours left to complete the work, as previously agreed upon by both parties. Now the Misfit Garage team must scramble to complete the upholstery work on Sue’s truck. To make matters worse, when their tools go missing, they must act fast in order to get the job done so they can keep their names and reputations as master mechanics intact.

For those unfamiliar with Misfit Garage, most of the mechanics have had some type of unpleasant run-in in the past with powerhouse Richard Rawlings, and a few of them were even fired from Gas Monkey Garage. To them, nothing would be sweeter than to make Fired Up Garage the first place people turn to for a one-of-a-kind custom street rod. Still struggling to make a prominent name for themselves, almost all they have is their impressive mechanical skills and their reputation. If word got out that they failed on a build, especially one as important as Sue’s, they could literally lose everything.

Futon Critic shared that on this season of Misfit Garage, the master mechanics will step it up with even bigger builds and, of course, a lot more drama. As fans of the show know, despite their best intentions, things don’t always go smoothly for the dysfunctional Misfit Garage team. When Thomas Weeks decides to pick up a 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 for the garage to build for the prestigious Barrett-Jackson car auction, this only adds to the stress experienced by the crew, with detrimental results. As the pressure to succeed continues to grow and with talk of expanding the business by moving into a larger facility, one member of the Misfit Garage crew decides that he’s had enough, and decides to leave Fired Up Garage.

Although the Misfit Garage crew may be down by one, they are still determined to fight, and as the season gears up, they come together as a team to help fill the void. That means everyone must work harder and longer in order to complete all their builds on time and as close to budget as possible. If Tom Weeks continues to push the men to make their deadlines, he will get them ever closer to realizing their dream of becoming the top garage that is known around the world for their custom street rods.

Misfit Garage and Fast N’ Loud are produced by Pilgrim Media Group, with Craig Piligian and Eddie Rohwedder serving as executive producers. Craig Coffman is the executive producer for Discovery, with Todd Lefkowitz serving as coordinating producer of Misfit Garage.
