Drake, Joe Budden Just Slayed You — ‘Et Tu, Daylyt’?

Joe Budden, Drake looked up to you. Why’d you have to do it? With Drizzy busy, Daylyt responded, but in allegiance to whom? Is this the set up? Might this be how it happened just before “Back to Back” released this time last year.

Drake and Joe Budden haven’t exactly had the kindest of communications.

As concerns Drake, Budden gave him his props last year on the way he handled Meek Mill.

Joe mentioned that Drake’s “Back to Back” wasn’t the most lyrically profound, but the showmanship behind his execution was legendary.

Recently, Drake supposedly dissed Joe Budden in “4PM in Calabasas,” along with Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs. At first, Budden brushed it off.

When Drake released “4PM in Calabasas,” Joe Budden responded with the following tweets.

“New age beefing and battling is very different,” says Joe, in a recent video. “I don’t know if I’m equipped to do it. I fear that we’ll soon have to find out.”

You can see the footage for yourself in Budden’s video below.

Joe Budden – 4PM in the Pizza Shop

However, concerning the Drake diss, Joe Budden felt that he had succumbed to fan pressure this time around. If you look at Budden’s Twitter, you’ll see that he had been writing for weeks now, since Drake’s “4PM in Calabasas” song dropped.

And, as you can hear from the track, it’s well worth the listen.

If you haven’t heard Joe Budden’s Drake diss, you can listen below. Aside from the lyrical beef, it’s worth mentioning — even though popular consensus says that Budden completely slaughtered Drake — he holds that there are no hard feelings toward Drizzy.

Joe Budden – Making A Murderer, Part One

Whether Drake was actually dissing both Joe and Puff, Budden says — as mentioned in “Making a Murderer Part 1” (Drake/Meek Mill diss) — his fans kept asking what he was going to do about the comeback to Drizzy’s lines.

In the track’s introduction, you can hear a snippet from an interview where Drake says that Joe Budden is one of the best, lyrically.

Yet, at the same time, Budden has stated several times that he loves Drake’s music (non-sarcastically).

While there are Drake fans who warn Joe that something serious is coming down the pipeline, he responds that it’s a “win/win” situation because he loves new Drake music.

While many people think that Drake’s “4PM in Calabasas” wasn’t about Budden at all, Joe says that the shots were fired because he wasn’t feeling Drizzy’s Views album.

Ironically, isn’t that similar to how things started with Meek Mill and his Dreams Worth More Than Money album?

So, the question is this: is Drake’s music about to birth an actual Joe Budden diss? Drake hasn’t mentioned anything.

However, remember that he didn’t mention anything before dropping “Back to Back” either. Yet, scenarios seem to be playing out quite reminiscently.

Before Drake’s “Back to Back,” Daylyt released a Meek Mill diss of his own. The Inquisitr reported on the track’s release at that time.

Well, it seems that Daylyt has responded again. However, it might be aimed at both Drake and Joe Budden. You can listen to the alleged Drake/Joe Budden diss below.

Daylyt – Cat Out The Bagg

Well, like Drake once said, “I got enemies / Got a lot of enemies / Got a lot of people trying to drain me of my energy / Tryna’ take the wave from a n***a.” What now?

All in all, what are your thoughts regarding the Drake/Joe Budden beef? Will Drake respond soon? Is Daylyt saying “farewell” to assisting OVO? Feel free to share your response in the comments below.
