Gwen Stefani Cancelling ‘This Is What The Truth Feels Like Tour’ Because Of Blake Shelton?

Gwen Stefani is allegedly worried that heading out on her upcoming tour could spell the end of her whirlwind romance with Blake Shelton.

According to a new report by OK! Magazine, Gwen is worried that too much time on the road could put a strain on her and Shelton’s relationship, which could put her upcoming “The Is What The Truth Feels Like Tour” in jeopardy.

“Gwen is worried about the idea of spending so much time apart,” a source told the site this week of Stefani’s fears about being away from Blake from an extended period of time, hinting that Stefani could potentially consider pulling the plug on her upcoming string of shows.

“She’s afraid it’s going to blow up their romance,” the insider said.

However, the site’s insider confessed that Gwen may have a plan up her sleeve and could consider asking Blake to hit the road with her rather than canceling her upcoming shows, admitting that Stefani supposedly “wants to keep an eye on Blake” when her tour kicks off later this month.

Gwen is yet to respond to rumors suggesting that Blake could be joining her when she plays 28 shows around the U.S. and Canada from July 12 through October, although this isn’t the first time reports have claimed that Stefani’s fans may catch a glimpse of Shelton at Gwen’s shows.

In Touch Weekly claimed earlier this year that there’s a chance Blake could be joining Gwen on the road, alleging that Stefani had already asked her boyfriend to join her at select shows in the hopes that the possibility of seeing the twosome together could drive up sales.

“Blake is even going to show up at a few of her gigs and perform with her,” a source told the site, claiming that Shelton is doing everything he can to help boost ticket sales for Stefani’s 2016 “This Is What The Truth Feels Like Tour.”

“It makes him sad that she isn’t selling tickets when she has worked so hard on this tour,” the source revealed of Shelton.

Reports claiming that Gwen Stefani is turning to Blake come amid claims that ticket sales for Gwen’s upcoming string of shows around the U.S. and Canada are so low they’re “horrifying.”

The New York Post was first to claim that tickets for Gwen’s shows aren’t selling as she’d hoped before In Touch Weekly reported that those closest to Stefani are allegedly urging her to cancel her gigs before concert promoters decide to pull the plug.

The site alleged that Gwen’s team were supposedly encouraging her to abandon or postpone the shows to “spare herself the embarrassment” of having the tour canceled by someone else.

“The tour starts July 12, but there are still some venues where 90 percent of the tickets are available for sale,” a source alleged at the time.

Though In Touch Weekly didn’t reveal if Blake was one of Stefani’s confidants urging her to cancel the shows, the source did claim that Shelton recently told Gwen that if she did opt to abandon the tour they could instead spend the summer making plans to expand their family.

“[Blake] assured her that if she does cancel, they can spend all summer planning for a baby,” the inside source claimed.

Unfortunately for Stefani, The New York Post reported that sales for the tour are seriously low, and most shows consist of “a sea of blue (the color for unsold seats) on Ticketmaster’s interactive seat map for each tour stop, interrupted by an occasional red dot signifying a resale seat.”
