Prince Harry Targeted By Taliban: ‘Kidnap Or Kill Him’

Prince Harry was recently deployed to Afghanistan following his highly-publicized naked antics in Las Vegas, but now the royal is getting attention he probably wants even less than that of the tabloids, if you can imagine it. The Taliban are reportedly looking for Prince Harry and have promised to capture or kill him if they manage to find him.

Staring down a threat like that, a little naked romp in Vegas doesn’t seem all that bad, now does it?

Prince Harry is currently on a four-month tour in Afghanistan and is reportedly fighting Taliban insurgents there at the front lines (he is a helicopter pilot for the British military). The Taliban have apparently taken note of his presence and his celebrity. A representative for the Taliban said that the terrorist group have Prince Harry in their cross-hairs, reports TMZ.

Terrorist spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said that the group has made it a top priority to kidnap or kill Prince Harry.

“We are using all our strength to get rid of him, either by killing or kidnapping,” Mujahid told Reuters in a telephone interview. “We have informed our commanders in Helmand to do whatever they can to eliminate him,” he added, without going into further detail on what the group are calling the “Harry operations.”

Britain’s Ministry of Defence did not comment on the Taliban’s “capture or kill” order on Prince Harry. Authorities in Britain have remained mum on details of Prince Harry’s service in Afghanistan for obvious reasons.

If the Taliban are truly set on the order, then it shouldn’t be too hard to find Prince Harry in Afghanistan. Just look for the naked guy running around with a pool stick.
