Karrueche Tran Responds To Kevin McCall’s ‘Baerrueche’ Track, Denies Being The Singer’s ‘Bae’

Karrueche Tran is setting the record straight about her alleged relationship and rumored feud with Kevin McCall following the singer’s June release of his controversial new track, “Baeruecche,” in which McCall suggests that he and Tran previously had a romantic connection amid the model’s on-again, off-again relationship with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

Earlier this month, Kevin McCall made headlines regarding his ongoing feud with Chris Brown after the duo took to social media to exchange a series of heated words over Brown’s decision to mention McCall’s “baby mama,” Eva Marcille, on Instagram.

McCall and Brown’s online spat began after Kevin McCall took to Twitter to blast Chris Brown for mentioning Marcille on the social media site, warning the “Loyal” singer, “@chrisbrown aye mention my baby mama or kid again & your next show in L.A gonna be like a Trump rally! u said f*** my grandma remember? Wait,” Vibe reports.

In response to McCall’s accusation, Chris Brown responded with a series of scathing Instagram videos in which he declared that Kevin is “shaped like a wiffle ball bat” and suggested that he will assist McCall’s career by allowing him to “sing backup” for his 2-year-old daughter, Royalty Brown.

The duo’s feud further escalated after McCall responded to a fan on Twitter who suggested that he pursue Karrueche Tran in an effort to get back at Chris Brown given the nature of the model’s split from Brown in 2015, prompting McCall to begin using the hashtag, “#Baerucche,” to refer to his alleged romantic history with the actress.

“#Baerucche I know that’s you…stop Baereuche [sic] Tran!…before I make a baby with you & name her Loyalty Crown McCall,” Kevin wrote on Twitter in response to the fan’s post, prompting Karrueche to confront McCall directly on the social media site with the message,” @MelaninisKEY man if you don’t get the f*** outta here with this s***.”

Despite Tran’s outward disapproval of Kevin McCall’s “Baerrueche” song, rumors of an alleged romance between Karrueche and Kevin as a result of the singer’s track began surfacing on social media, prompting Tran to address the dating claims during a red carpet interview for the BET Awards 2016 on Sunday.

In a brief interview with This is 50, Karrueche slams reports suggesting that she has been romantically involved with Kevin McCall in the past in addition to noting that she doesn’t even know the songwriter on a personal level.

When asked if Kevin McCall is “her man,” Karrueche explains, “No, and I’m not his ‘bae’ so I don’t know why he’s doing all that.”

Similarly, when asked if McCall’s claims of a romantic history on his new track are outright lies, Karrueche reveals, “He is [lying], cause I ain’t his bae. He ain’t my bae,” before admitting that she doesn’t even know McCall on a personal level.

The news comes just days after Kevin McCall took to Twitter to suggest that Karrueche ordered her crew to pull a gun on him in response to his continued efforts to involve the model in his ongoing spat with Chris Brown, All Hip Hop reports.

McCall took to Twitter on June 27 to speculate, “@karrueche u know them n***** who just tried to Kill me huh? Don’t know what its about but its gonna get hsndled [sic]. We don’t do those.”

McCall continued, “On behalf of @karrueche you n***** who was scared of a head up and tried to sneak me and pop me…lets run it back fairly…that wasn’t G.”

As of yet, Karrueche has not publicly responded to Kevin McCall’s claims.
