‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 7 Cast Predictions: Arya, Daenerys, And Bran Stark

Warning: Spoilers for Game of Thrones Season 6 and news for Season 7 below.

Game of Thrones Season 6 has concluded with one of the best finales of the series. The release date for Season 7 is likely to be in Spring of 2017 and we already have some predictions from cast members about their character’s fate.

So far we know that there are two more seasons planned with fewer episodes. There is no word yet as to whether each episode will be longer to make up for a shortened series.

Emilia Clarke has made some predictions about Daenerys’ fate now that her Game of Thrones character has set sail to Westeros. Clarke told Entertainment Weekly that she feels Daenerys Targaryen will not see Jorah Mormont and Daario Naharis again. These characters were Daenerys’ closest confidants, and with her setting off to Westeros without them marks a turn in the series.

Emilia Clarke predictions include Cersei Lannister and their inevitable clash. When asked about a Daenerys vs Cersei scenario, Clarke states, “I’ve got ships, I’ve got manpower, I’ve got dragons that breathe fire, and I apparently cannot be killed.”

With Cersei using up her wildfire, she may be out of tricks when she comes face to face with Daenerys, her dragons, and diverse army.

Bran Stark actor Isaac Hempstead Wright believes Bran will head south to Winterfell and reunite with Jon Snow in Season 7. Wright also jokes about the awkward meeting between Bran and Jon Snow since the characters have not seen each other in a while.

“Hey, yeah, by the way, I’m a tree wizard now, and dad’s not your father.’ (Laughs.) I think Jon will go, ‘You’ve been spending way too much time in the cave, mate.'”

Game of Thrones Season 7 may lead to an epic Stark reunion with Arya not too far from home. It is unclear whether she will focus on completing her kill list or possibly finding Nymeria, her long lost direwolf.

Maisie Williams discussed Arya’s kill list for Season 7 in an interview with EW. While many are dead already, the list includes Cersei Lannister, The Mountain, and Melisandre. Arya Stark utilized her faceless abilities to infiltrate House Frey and assassinate his sons. Arya then put them in a pie and served them to Walder Frey.

In an epic kill, Arya makes sure Walder is the last thing he ever sees as she avenges her brother Robb Stark and mother Catelyn.

Jon Snow’s parentage confirms that he is forged of ice and fire; therefore, he is likely to have a big role in Season 7. While things haven’t worked out too well for the previous kings in the north, Ned’s bastard son is something special.

There will be four directors for Game of Thrones Season 7. Unfortunately, Miguel Sapochnik, the director of “The Battle of the Bastards” and “Winds of Winter” finale, will not be returning.

The Game of Thrones Season 6 finale puts Cersei in a bad position despite being crowned queen. Cersei, alongside her brother Jaime Lannister, may have to fight a battle at two fronts. Daenerys is coming with her army and the last of family Tyrell is plotting her downfall at Dorne.

Some fan theories and predictions for Season 7 suggest that Jaime may be the one to kill Cersei, who may lose her mind with the loss of her children.

Tyrion will also be returning with Daenerys and he is very close to his brother. Jaime may end up in a bad position where he has to choose between his siblings, both of whom he loves dearly. This should make things interesting for Game of Thrones Season 7 next year.
