Netflix Is Losing All These Titles In July 2016

Netflix is about to make a lot of people unhappy this summer by losing some of their premiere content that have cult fan followings on the streaming platform in July 2016. Not only are these titles leaving, but there is no indication that Netflix is bringing in any worthy substitutes for them.

For those who love all the classic Star Trek films with the original cast from the 1960s series, then you are about to lose Netflix access to every one of them come July 2016. That includes the first seven films in the Star Trek franchise, including the last one that featured the crossover between the original series cast and The Next Generation cast. Those films spanned between the years 1979 and 1994.

Netflix is known to bring some of the very best films of neo-classic cinema and TV to their platform. But with the onslaught of competition coming from content providers like CBS, NBC, and other broadcast and cable networks, they are pulling their content from Netflix and using those films and shows on their own pay streaming platforms.

In July 2016, there is going to be a mass hiatus from Netflix this year and some of those films and TV shows are the ones that subscribers love the most.

There are going to be some notable absences coming up on Netflix from the television industry, according to Vulture. Most of those titles leaving Netflix are from the kids category, though.

Here is the list of television titles leaving Netflix in July 2016:
