Newly Single Ariel Winter Proudly Shows Off Her Body

Modern Family star Ariel Winter is obviously proud of her curves. She’s not afraid to show it off on Instagram. But even Ariel becomes the subject of body shamers at times.

The 18-year-old is hitting back with another revealing photo. Winter took to Instagram to share a cheeky new photo just in time for the Fourth of July weekend. The new photo shows Winter wearing a red, white, and blue tie-dye bikini on a boat. It looks like Winter is already feeling the Patriotic spirit. She also celebrated the exciting news that she now has two million Instagram followers.

Ariel has been celebrating a lot of major milestones lately. She just attended her senior prom, graduated from high school, and has been accepted into UCLA. But Ariel’s latest graduation photo has been causing a stir on social media. She took to Instagram to share a photo of herself wearing a nude bodycon dress that put her assets on display. The dress flaunted some major cleavage, which upset some of Ariana’s own fans.

On Wednesday night, June 22, Winter posted a series of tweets along with the hashtag #EmbraceYourBody to address to her body shamers. She revealed the reason why she wore the risqué dress was simply because she loves it, and she doesn’t care what others think of her. Then, Winter followed up with a cute mirror selfie and empowering message for her young fans.

Ariel has become a major body-positive force on social media over the past year. She revealed to Glamour magazine that she had received shameful comments after undergoing breast reduction surgery in 2015.

“We live in a day and age where everything you do is ridiculed. The Internet bullies are awful. I could post a photo where I feel good, and 500 people will comment about how fat I am, and that I am disgusting.”

Now, Winter is overcoming another life-changing moment. She has broken up with her boyfriend, Laurent Claude Gaudette, which is why she went to prom solo. Then, Winter posted a black-and-white photo of herself with her middle fingers up in the air and Beyoncé’s lyrics, “Middle fingers up / Put them hands high / Wave it in his face / Tell him boy bye.”

In addition, both Winter and Glaudette have unfollowed each other on Instagram, according to Teen Vogue. In this day and age, you know that a couple is over once they unfollow each other on social media.

Take Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift, for instance. Right after the singer moved on with British actor Tom Hiddleston, the Scottish DJ removed all the photos from their relationship on his Instagram account. In addition, Harris also un-followed Swift, but re-followed her a week later, telling fans that he’s just a “real person” with real feelings.

Winter may have even confirmed the recent split news with this recent photo on Instagram on Sunday, June 26. Winter posted a meme of Kim Kardashian from an old episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

However, this isn’t the first time that the couple has split. Back in December 2015, fans assumed that they split when she posted a series of Instagram messages hinting that she was single. Maybe Ariel and Laurent have one of those on-and-off relationships that keeps people guessing.

So, it’s hard to tell if Winter and her boyfriend are over for good. The teen hasn’t shared any details about their split, and it’s unlikely that fans will get a reason.
