Kendall Jenner Plays Mediator Between Kanye And Taylor Swift
The feud between Kanye West and Taylor Swift just won’t be put to rest. Kanye’s song “Famous” was the catapult leading to tensions between the musical artists being heightened once more, when Kanye included the lyric “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex.” With the release of the video to accompany the track, the rapper has made it known that he will not back down and sent this clear signal by including a clip where he is laying in bed next to a naked look-a-like of the “Bad Blood” hitmaker.

The feud has now required friends and family close to the two musical artists to speak their piece and take sides. Unfortunately, this has been the result for Kendall Jenner. Jenner is caught in the middle between her persistent and insistent brother-in-law, Kanye, and her pal, Taylor. Sources claim that the 20-year-old model has yet to make her firm choice as to who to back in the feud, but that she has attempted to play the role of mediator between the two superstars. Bang Showbiz relays the words of the source on the issue.
“At first she was trying to mediate between Taylor and Kanye over text, but things have gone nuclear since then. “The Kardashians are known for closing ranks, and she’s under a lot of pressure to cut ties with Taylor.”
The plot of this tale thickens since a letter was leaked by momager Kris Jenner which asked Kanye, husband to Jenner’s daughter Kim, to destroy recordings on which Taylor gives permission for Kanye to use the lyric on the “famous” track. It’s being reported that the 60-year-old leaked the letter herself in order to verify that Swift is not being truthful about her initial stance on the lyric, and did actually give permission.
The source went on to comment on the evidence that the Kardashians now have against Swift.
“As far as the Kardashians are concerned, why would Taylor be so desperate to have evidence destroyed if she had nothing to hide? The whole drama has left Kendall caught in the middle between her and her family. She’s desperate for it to blow over.”
It hasn’t only been Kris and Kanye who have attempted to expose Taylor’s apparent untruthful remarks that suggested Kanye had never asked her about the lyrics. Kim Kardashian got in on defending her hubby and pointing the finger at Swift while chatting with GQ Magazine for her cover story. Entertainment Weekly relays the words of Kim K when she spoke on the topic of the feud and stated that Taylor definitely knew about the lyric and gave consent.
“She totally approved that. She totally knew that that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t. I swear, my husband gets so much s*** for things [when] he really was doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved.”

It’s not a surprising fact that Kanye West keeps camera crews around at all times and records conversations that he has. Due to the this, the rapper reportedly has the evidence which proves Taylor was all about the inappropriate lyric. Kim shared her confusion about Taylor’s later denial of something she had been all for.
“It was funny because [on the call with Kanye, Taylor] said, ‘When I get on the Grammy red carpet, all the media is going to think that I’m so against this, and I’ll just laugh and say, ‘The joke’s on you, guys. I was in on it the whole time. And I’m like, wait, but [in] your Grammy speech, you completely dissed my husband just to play the victim again.”
